Same here. I hate netbooks and laptops. I'll take my giant tower and monitor over portability any day.
I have a desktop, 2 workstation laptops, a phutzing around little laptop and two phones. I LOVE my little laptop for the forum, kinda hard to lug a desktop and a monitor to the couch.

I just ordered an Alienware M14X, so we'll see how much usage Tapatalk on my iPhone 4 gets after that. Probably plenty still considering how much time I spend at work, and I just picked up a third job.

You are stepping up to an Alienware, now its time to step up you phone game. Aliens and androids always play nice, so you need an android. Lol
I know what you mean, sometimes I forget that not everyone is in my situation. For me this is actually easier to use, but I am not using it the way you are. Your needs are more than entertainment and communication.
I can understand that. But a pot hole or two, and a 10 mile stretch of I10 in eastern Lousianna, and that tower would be a pile-O-parts in a big truck. LOL
And.... I have yet to diagnose a downed network with a phone.
Oh its easy water. I just dial 611 and ask Sprint WTF??? LOL
Yup, I'll still get wet, but it won't all land in my lap and soak in (I hate when my .... gets wet!).
And the only time I'll trade in my Honda is when I get a bigger one!

Yeah, a lot of my friends have Androids. They're cool phones. I'd get one if my number one priority wasn't combining my iPod and phone into one.
gotta have my 32g's of music and space for all my useless apps. I appreciate that they're faster, and just great phones all-around. just not for me.
I have a wp7 phone. I like it waaaay more than i ever did my iphone. Android is just too fragmented.
