The original one is sold out. The comfort inn is now offering rooms at the same rate.
If we still owned an airplane I'd be there in an instant. We could get there and back in a day if we really wanted (we wouldn't, we'd stay over). The airplane went when my husband's license went after his heart attack. I could get one (free since we have friends who own planes), but my medical isn't up to date and I'd need a serious check ride too. I'm going to hook up with an instructor friend of mine who is also an faa inspector to get current, so if the next one is within flying distance we'll be there for sure!
Woo Hoo! It's Sallie of many talents. How cool is that. My brother, Dad and uncle all fly. Sadly I never got my license. Perhaps I should put it on my bucket list. My Dad and brother actually built an airplane. Two seater called the Dragonfly. Neat little plane.
I was just going to take the pinch hitter course to learn to fly just enough and land in case something happened to my husband in the air and got bit bad by the flying bug. We used to fly anywhere and everywhere. Then we got dogs. Then my husband had a heart attack and lost his medical and got grounded. He could probably get it back, but he's lazy.

Actually the little airport about an hour from here advertises flying lessons. Must go check it out...
You could pick me up- if I could go and be back faster, I know I could make it!
Don't anybody kill me if FV takes flying lessons and our juice takes longer to get mixed on lesson day!
