I meant cut. I'm old give me a break...
"Cutting off the nose to spite the face" is an expression used to describe a needlessly self-destructive over-reaction to a problem: "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face" is a warning against acting out of pique, or against pursuing revenge in a way that would damage oneself more than the object of one's anger.
From Wickipedia. I'm sure it's correct.

Told ya she wouldn't like it! Lol How exactly does one bite their nose off? ;)

I would so take Charlotte over Columbus any day. I have no idea why we stay here. The South is beautiful and warm.
You gals PM me when you start looking in TN.It's beautiful there as well.I may have to follow you there. Don't follow me though.I do have a tendency to wander aimlessly.

So here's a funny story for you folks in the south dealing with an early visit from summertime..

A couple weeks back, I had to travel to Charlotte, NC for work. When I left Boston it was chilly, in the 50s or so, got to Charlotte and it was the same.. sorta chilly

The next day the sun came out and it was beautiful.. 20 degrees warmer in Charlotte than in Boston. Even though we were all stuck indoors in meetings, all us northern folks took walks when we could, trying to get a little dose of springtime.

On Thursday when it was time to go back to Boston.. it was 78 degrees and sunny in Charlotte. Absolutely glorious.

Did not get to spend anytime outdoors. went right to the airport.. got on the plane and then sat... in the big metal can that smelled like a lavatory.. on the runway... for 2 hours.. No vaping either.. I was getting squirrely. Add another 2 hours for the flight back to Boston where it was 35 degrees and a mix of rain/ice/snow. Had to trudge across the parking lot to my car which was OUTSIDE and covered in a thick layer of ice.

So yeah... early summer is a pain in the ... but so is ice/snow/crummy weather so yeh gotta pick yer poison ;)

cheers!

Looking forward to a fantastic weekend. My DIL is getting her "White Coat" on Saturday. She will be a resident Veterinarian at Ohio State. Her husband (my Son) is coming on Friday and staying with me so we can watch Ghost Adventures all night after we have Dinner with My DIL and her Mom.
Saturday after the ceremony we are going to the best Rib joint ever and my daughter and grandson will be coming home with me to spend the night so that we an go shopping Sunday afternoon. I cannot wait!

Very Good. Did you also see the part where she can and will at anytime inadvertently (of course) find any secrets that you might be hiding and upon finding be entitled to a day of rest and relaxation in her Spa of choice.Which would include but is not limited to:
Full Body Massage
Facial
Pedicure
Manicure
Champagne Lunch
Hair cut and style
and a ride home in a limo...
You didn't read that did you Paul
