A verbal agreement is perfectly acceptable.

Well posse, I'm headed for bed. I got like 4 hours sleep last night and I have to get an early start tomorrow. Going to visit my mom and sister in NH. Have a great night all, and I'll see you later tomorrow. :)
Be careful and have a nice day!

I just listened to an interview yesterday about A.I. and how it could take over the world...maybe it will start with the CC thread
Ok finally completed my St. Patty's Day mani. This is inspired by my friend over at Nail Polish Wars. Some of you will recognize it from my nail pinning.
SO cute Chips!
where's Stretchy been today?..:?:
I miss her humor..
Stretchy spent the day with her family if I remember correctly. Shopping and all that was involved. I don't think she was gonna steal anything because her grandson was gonna be there...I may have the details wrong though..

Oh, forgot to mention... the surgery went well today and Aunt Carol is in recovery. They ended up having to do FIVE bypasses. Yikes!
Good to hear she is doing well :)

Needing prayers again.. this time for my family.. my little cousin just passed away in a car wreck.
So sorry Morgan :(

Did anyone understand the snake reference? :)

nope. I got the triskawhatever though.

Trinity knot?

St. Patrick is said to have chased the "snakes" out of Ireland. The problem with that though, is Ireland didn't actually have snakes. The snake reference is, most likely, meaning him banishing the pagans from the area. One of these groups was the Picts, who commonly used a lot of spirals in their artwork (like a coiled snake).

I have it tatted on top of my left bicep. The triquetra is one, of many, pagan symbols that were re-purposed by Christianity in order to make it "easier" to convert the "unwashed masses".

Ok, my real quick explanation (hopefully quick). And also the reason that we do not acknowledge St Patrick's Day at our house...

Most people do not understand what they are celebrating when it comes to St Patrick's Day. They just really like the green beer and an excuse to knock a few back with friends. St Patrick is credited as bringing Christianity to Ireland and driving the "snakes" out. The Pagans and the Druids were the active "religion" of the country at the time and they are the symbolic "snakes". Gotta love government...
Just keep in mind that millions of pagans were killed when Christianity came to Ireland. Sort of like a Pagan Holocaust.
The triquetra has many names but is essentially a symbol for the power of three. Maiden, Mother, Crone or Father, Son, Holy Spirit depending on your slant....
Many pagan symbols are used in modern religion now as their temples were absorbed when Christianity took over.
