Animal Control came this morning when the dog has just
came back in my yard..she caught him and he'll be destroyed...
the owner is a big jerk..

I have to head home. Two hours early. The wife had to call her mom to take her to the Urgent Care. I havent had an update since 11am. Mrs E not answering her phone, her mom not answering her phone. Not only am I worried about her, but I dont know if mom is smart enough to remember she has to get the girls off the bus in 20 minutes. And there's no way I can make it home that fast. I'll update when I can.

I am so so sorry she and you had to go through that.I think I'd be getting me a well trained Rottie to hang out with the alpacas. Raise him from an infant.He will be very loyal to his job. They are workaholics.I don't think there will be anymore trespassing from unsupervised dogs..

Thanks she was very cute and very defenceless...he ran her ripping out fiber..its all over
my pasture....he bite a gash in her belly then bit her hard enough to tear a hole in her trachea,
slashed open her cheek pulled the muscle from her jaw. He wasn't playing.

He was in my double fenced yard then and again this morning when Animal Control got here thats where
she caught him. If she was 2 min later I would have shot him myself.

No it doesn't suck he has to be put down....Irresponsible dog owners that let their dogs roam
the neighborhood suck...this neighbor has NO fence and blames me because I didn't catch his dog
before he killed her and shoot him...

Sorry for the rant but she was my baby and the 4th alpaca I've had
killed by a neighbor's dog...

I know. I read all three books and loved them. Wish there were a 4th.

Just like some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids, a lot more people shouldn't be allowed to have pets.

I just finished the 2nd Stieg Larsson book. It's a shame the author died. Lisbeth Sander is BADASS!!!!

After our first Newfie died we got another one.She did not have a Newfie temperment. Newfies under any circumstances are not mean. You can't make them mean. You do what you have to do.

If that dog hadn't been put down it may have been a child next. Dogs that kill for sport need to be taken out. Sorry to anyone that finds that offensive, but I can't tolerate mean animals. We put down a barn dog that we had years ago, he was getting meaner every day and I knew it was just a matter of time before someone/something got hurt. Part of being a responsible pet owner is recognizing when your pet is dangerous and properly dealing with it.

I don't think you did. We all hate when an animal has to be put down. Emotions run deep when it concerns the death of a beloved pet.

I didn't mean I felt bad that the dog had to be put down, but it's a shame it had to come to that due to the irresponsibility of a human. As much as it's instinct for the dog to hunt, it's even moreso the responsibility of the owner to prevent that from happening. I really suck when it comes to trying to say what I mean which is usually why I rarely talk about much other than small talk. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I don't know how old you guys are.Fairlyyoung I would think. It could be the beginning of Migraines. Not only do they make you vomit you have to be put on suicide watch.Nothing.. I mean nothing... makes you want to die or kill someone than having a migraine. Little over the top??Have you had a migraine?

I cant remember what I put in the first post, so if its redundant info, Im sorry. Its been one craptastic day.

Ok, so last night she had a nasty headache that motrin didnt touch. She woke up this morning and it hadnt gone away. When I got to work, she was already asking if I could leave early. I told her if it was that bad, she needed to get to a doctor. She ignored my (always) genius advice, and decided to lay down for a nap. When she woke up, she couldnt stop puking. By this time, she couldnt stand up, much less drive herself anywhere, and knew I couldnt leave work that early. (with the Regional VP coming, she wouldve needed to have been admitted into the hospital to pull me away). So she called her mom to come get her and take her to the urgent care. I get a text at about 11am saying mom made it and they were leaving now. I sent her a text at noon, and again at 1, but never got a reply. At 2, I tried calling her phone, house phone, and her mom's phone. I had already given my manager a heads up, and since I hadnt heard anything back, I called him to make sure I was ok to leave. As Im on the way out the door, mom calls me, its about 2:15. She said she's on her way to get CJ something to eat and get the girls off the bus. They hadnt told her much, but she knew they had an IV in her arm. By the time I get home, Mrs E is knocked out on the bed. Mom said they gave her several medications for the vomiting and nausea, and a general antibiotic to help with the "viral" infection. When they say viral infection, they dont know what caused it. They knew SOMETHING was wrong, they just couldnt figure out what. All in all, virus caused severe vomiting, caused severe dehydration, caused vertigo, increased heart rate, and all that fun stuff.

Overall, Mrs E is feeling better. She ate a few bites of dinner and it stayed down and is back in bed.

After mom left, I had to keep the kids outside so she could sleep. I took the time to get my lawn mower tire remounted on the rim and get the back yard cut, finally. Naturally, I shut off the mower before I parked it, then it wouldnt start back up.


I guess Drott was right... I am long winded. NOW i get to read all of the posts that Im sure are now posted threatening me with bodily harm because I forgot to update....

Hey Posse! Gosh this has been a supremely long day. Sitting on bleachers for hours on end is not fun. However Kealey did great.
Out of 24 girls she placed 6th overall in shot put. Keep in mind for all events, she is in 6ht grade and this includes 6th, 7th and 8th.
She got 3rd in the 100 And took first (in her heat) in the 400. Pretty proud Payton's this evening. Just really flippin tired ones....

Tomorrow is another long day..Skyler leaves for another county in the morning for an FFA competition. She has to meet her group at 7 am. I have the sucky place. Thomas and Kealey are going to be attending a hunter's safety course Saturday and Sunday..starts at 8:45am. Busy busy busy
