Oh... I forgot. Our regional VP never came by the warehouse today. I did as little as possible all day too. Until my manager called. The RVP was doing a ride-along with one of our techs to see how certain systems that he was spearheading were actually working. He found out that when we go on an installation, we have ZERO information to get the job done. Including all additional parts that arent ordered for the install. So, I get the call, they need 85ft of 25 pair cable. I spool off the needed amount and go out there to help. Its a good thing too. Even with three of us working on it, it took 3 hours to finish it AFTER I got there. But man, it felt good to act like a technician again. Then I volunteered to take the RVP back to his car at our local Corp office. Even though it wasnt exactly on the way home. Who knows.... Maybe a few brownie points got scored on some level or another. I hope my tomorrow is even more boring as today was. I can enjoy the last 8 of the 51 hours I will have worked this week.

Nope. Certain things need to be spelled out for the Abe Normal brain. (bonus points if you name the movie, doubled if you can get why its so funny!)
Young Frankenstein, quote from Marty Feldman's character Igor. Abby Normal = Abnormal. And that's pronounced "Eye-gor". :)
