Well, the day has begun. Wife is already at work. Kids are fed and dressed. There wont be naps this morning. No naps and Chuckies.... I wanna curl up in a ball and just cry. I hope they have beer there. And its only days like this that I wish I had a real cigarette. I think Im gonna load up a carto of House with a higher nic level just to keep my blood pressure down.

I just saw on CNN that the Navy is calling it a "catastrophic mechanical failure". They said there was a major fuel leak shortly after takeoff. All tenants of the apartment building have been accounted for, no casualties. I hate that it happened. I hate even more that it had the potential to hurt people I knew (I dont care if that sounds selfish or not, but its true). But I am ecstatic that there was no one killed. Minor injuries for the pilots that ejected. All in all, a miracle within a tragedy.James, I live in Hampton Roads the F18 crash was all over the news. My father was yelling for me to come sit with him and watch it this afternoon. Oh and I've already tried the cool aid.
