Thats my arguement. Asst coach was asking for 6 of the 10 regular season games to be constantly changing. I dont think I, or the girls, will be able to handle that. Im going to give her two more games her way only because I have two more girls that want to pitch. And I want to give everyone a chance to play an infield position. Its hard standing in the outfield every game. It kills me though. They stand out there thinking that its boring and they dont have anything to do, then a solid hit comes to them and rolls right past them. I cant get them to understand that the outfield positions are just as important as the infield. We had a problem swinging the bat last night too. Not a single hit. But I think that the other team's pitcher intimidated them. She was a big girl. Easily 5'6" pushing 150 pounds. She had the ugliest wind up, and zero skill insofar as pitching mechanics. She had more of a slow pitch style, but she could fling that ball. My own daughter had two of the most perfect pitches of the whole game thrown to her. Right at her belly button, across the center of the plate. PERFECT pitches. And she just watched them scoot past her without even trying to swing. Afterwards, I asked her what happened and she replied with "She scared me!!!". That was our last game until Monday, and Im definitley seeing what we need to fix. We'll get there.night James..
