I just told my son to get on clean undies and jammies. He comes back in a PJ shirt holding his clean undies. I hold them for him to step into. He pulls them up. Then says "OH NO!!!! I forgot to take THESE off!!!!" Yep. He tried to put clean undies on over his dirty ones. Thats my boy.
You wait, it gets to be more fun. I got a call from the scout leader when Ian was camping. Seems he only packed one pair of underwear for the weekend. I had to drive all the way up to the Poconos to bring him more. And socks too. :glare: Plus I got a speech from the scout leader. Apparently he wouldn't have known about the one pair of underwear if it wasn't for Ian instigating a "mud bath" for himself and several other scouts. <sigh>

You were hit by a car? and you're breathing??

OK, just thinking about this... my youngest is 24 and still lives at home. I think my oldest was about 22 when he moved out. So that's 46 years worth of a "place for mom" I've amassed between the 2 of them. :) Although the youngest gets my vote - he was absolutely astounding after I was hit by the car!

Exactly....I took care of my Dad and Grandma. It's their turn.(Not Dad and Grandma) they're dead.I didn't do it.My Grandma had a heart condition my dad had (imagine this) lung cancer.I meant the kids better have a house with a guest suite.Yes a suite not a room.

the funny thing about "a place for Mom" is when the kids
were little and pitas we never shopped around for
"a place for Son or Daughter"..you just took care of them
why isn't it the same for them?...care for Mom or Dad and
deal with it...

Did ya check the gasoline? Just sayin...

Evenin' Folks. Been a pseudo-busy day today. The riding mower stopped running after I finished the lawn last week. So after lunch, I tore the fender panels off of it to get to the motor. I still cant figure it out. Air filter is clean, pulled the spark plug and it had fuel on it, tested the plug, still has a nice blue spark and no build up on the electrode, put my finger over the plug hole and felt plenty of compression. So sometime next week, Im hoping to get it up to the repair shop so they can replace the magneto. Its about the only thing left I can think of. If thats not it, and its going to be an expensive repair, we're just going to go to Home Depot to pick up a new John Deer. We dont want to max out our Lowes card and Home Depot keeps getting paid off, so our limit on it is over $4000.

So today, after giving up on trying to fix the mower, I pulled out the old reliable push mower. Mowing nearly an acre with a push mower isnt nearly as fun as it sounds. If you dont believe me, just ask me. I'll tell ya. Anywho, I let the dogs and the kids run around the yard all afternoon while I was mowing. Got done, brought them inside, and started dinner. I was planning on fixing spaghetti, but when I got done with the yard, I didnt feel like cooking. TV dinners for the kids ensued. After I sat down after slaving over dinner, Charli puked. Dont worry. Shes not sick like Cocoa was (who hasnt gotten sick in two days and is back on her regular food and no more meds to take, doing MUCH better!). I think Charli thought it would be fun to pretend she was a goat or cow or some other grazing animal. She had more grass pieces in her puke than I had in the front yard. So after all the running around and fresh air and barfing, you think she would be tired? Nope. Shes got her rope toy slinging it around, hitting me in the legs wanting me to play with her. Im telling you FV, she would give Victor a run for his money.

Now I get to put some kids to bed, find something for myself to eat for dinner, fix my lunch for tomorrow, and by then it should be bed time.

Not really. I always have the option of going to the mancave and stay up all night. But when she has to go to work the next morning, I need to be able to function well enough to take care of the hellions. Going to bed when she gets home ensures that I get enough sleep.

Its not raining in FL?!?!?

hehehe. I do that to my wife all the time. Like when she tells me I need a shower. Or asks for my opinion on clothes. Or when she tells me to bring my teeth.

After a pit stop in Clover, SC right?!? We're just off of I85 or I77. Just sayin'.

Why does Bruce Willis in the Whole Ten Yards come to my mind?
