Well said punkin. You can get on your soap box anytime. Sending prayers your wife's way too. :) It's a hard thing to live with.
I read these forums everyday and just think how lucky a person is to have good health. My wife has fibromyalgia and that really sucks bad at times but to hear some of the stories of others in pain and discomfort is truly sad. You would think humanity would focus technology to help those in need than to only focus on making a buck. Sorry for the soapbox... Stretchy I wish the best of luck to you and your daughter and that goes for all others too in need of any kind of pain relief...

So the Dr. called and my daughter thinks it's all good.
1-She has some kind of unidentified sludge substance in her Gall Bladder
2-Her Uterus is swollen for no discernible reason
3-She has a cyst on her ovary at first glance looks like she has an ectopic pregnancy.
4-Both kidneys are full of stones
5-She has a full blown bladder infection
6-She had lots of nodules on her thyroid.
7-She's in the full stage awfulness that is Crone's as well.
But because the Dr. didn't seem concerned so much with her liver after all he found she's good to go.
He kept asking if she was in pain. She told me no.Her back hurt a little. He said it should be excruciating. She said it isn't.So I think he had to go to the HooHah Doctor. and to her Gastro guy.
Head desk...unbelievable...

She has Crohn's? I have Crohns. Tough disease, especially for a young'un. The other issues are likely related - it's an autoimmune disorder, and you get all kinds of other disorders with it. (((((((((stretchy)))))))))

Good evening y'all. Ok, here's how I understand it:
MiL had chest pain about 4am. Went to the ER. The EKG showed "something" off, but couldve been the machine. The second EKG taken at about 2pm, showed everything was normal. They did admit her for overnight observation. The docs want to do a moving stress test, but for some reason, they dont do them over the weekend. So, if you have a potentially life threatening issue, make sure you have it during the week. :glare: Anywho.... they gave her a round of nitro for the chest pain. It didnt help. So they gave her a second, and then a third. So this means a few things.... one, nitro helping the chest pain, points to the fact it probably IS a heart problem. 2, because it took three doses, it is potentially a BAD heart problem. They have already scheduled a nonmoving stress test (dont know what that entails), and in two weeks a moving stress test in addition to another EKG. So all in all, the update is, we know there is a problem, but they dont know what, or how bad....

And VV, I'm with you on the eye candy thing. Ain't nothing wrong with a man who looks good in a cowboy hat!!
I do look good in a Stetson, dont I?!?

Or not so much.... :D

I dont know what it is about that song, but it always makes me chuckle.

You mean we aren't already friends??

So sorry to hear about Mrs. E's mom. I hope we get a good update.
I meant beyond the realm of interwebz. Right now, we're just "e-friends"!

A nonmoving stress test is one where they will administer a medication to stress the heart just like exercise would. It's done for people who either can't tolerate a standard exercise stress test or in a situation where a standard one isn't feasible (like when they don't do them on weekends). Also don't let the multiple rounds of nitro worry you too much. The good thing is that she sought medical attention right away instead of waiting. *hug*

Today is Irish Cream day. I forgot how much I liked this one until I mixed it for Mr. V yesterday.
Shhh, don't let that get around! Then everyone will want some!

Before I do a quick peek and poof, bliss, you and I would be the perfect friends. I too am vaping on a tank if Kewl Aide, and just opened a can of Diet Dr Pepper! :D

Now, the reason for the peek and poof... Mrs E is on her way to the ER. Sometime last night, her mom had a heart attack. They think. The docs don't believe it was a big one, but the details I've gotten are sketchy at best. I've gotta take Melanie and CJ to t-ball practice. I will update as I get more details.
Keeping you guys in my thoughts James.

Stretchy, keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts too.
