thanks Fv...took awhile getting it there..
the house is surrounded by trees..when
the roof was taken off the roofers found
a nest of snakes living in the eaves..8-o
pest control and tree trimmers immediately
called...anything but snakes..I was freaked
out..
I know snakes freak people out. But they are good. Well... Most of them are. I let Charli out yesterday afternoon and saw a pair of cardinals acting odd. One was in the tree right over her mate who was on the ground, both chirping in a way that you normally dont hear from a cardinal. Even when Charli tried to chase after the male, he didnt go very far, but kept chirping. I didnt think anything of it until I saw a black snake sliding over a downed tree at the edge of our property. The birds were warning other birds (I guess) that there was a snake. No, I didnt tell Mrs E about it. She would freak out and demand we moved right then and there. Personally, Id rather see snakes than rodents.

I was thinking, since we have these new bottles, we can't really say we squished anymore can we?
Sure you can. The dropper goes squeesh!!!

Not really, we'll need a new term. Hate to go back to the old bottles, everyone loves the new ones.
I do like the new ones. But now that Ive emptied one, Im left with not knowing what to do with it. I dont wanna throw it away, but I dont really have a use for it now.

FV, do you want to recycle them? We can send them back to you to be cleaned, sterilized, and reused!...?

Morning James!

Nope, you are going to have to reuse/recycle or toss them.

Rodents? blech.
I dont wanna toss them!!! They too purdy...

I have two massive oak trees. We see lots of squirrels, chipmunks, and the occational rabbit. Mrs E would rather see those than snakes. And in the four years we've been at this house, I have seen exactly ONE snake. Yesterday. Black Snake. Good snake.

Down the rabbit hole..
I know snakes serve a purpose...I'm glad they do..
but there are too many poisonous ones slithering
around...Violet is almost blind and it scares the crap
out of me...
I almost stepped on a water moccasin in our barn hallway
a few months ago...I screamed it away..Lol

if it were this house I live in that had snakes in the
eaves...I would have moved already...

Yeah, I would be afraid for her too. I worry about them for my animals as well and they don't have vision problems. Tessie is teacup and I think she could be swallowed quickly. *shiver*

I don't like snakes. If they are in the yard and non poisonous I'll leave them alone as long they do the same. I killed a large copperhead in front of my house a few years ago. Also killed a baby garden snake that made the mistake of coming IN my house.

IN your house seriously?....now you'll have me peeking everywhere..
