VV? Weren't you interested in an under the sea tank from Phiniac? I know you were leaning toward a colored tube, but they added this in a clearance "scratch and dent" section. It's in perfect shape, it was just a demo. Scratch & Dent - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

I think I mentioned that I am on loan to another group who isn't comfortable building web apps since they've only ever put up web sites, not web apps. Their style is quite different than the style of the group I actually work in. I now have confirmation of why I don't ever want to leave the group I work in. All the other groups are nuts. Perhaps this was my boss's evil plan all along.

Can't like it. Thankfully it's only for 4 weeks, right?

Good day posse!

 @ Sallie. You're just working with a different kind of nut perhaps? On a similar (but different) note to that... The company I work for just acquired another smaller company. I went online to check out the other company and everything had been switched over already to my company's info. Go figure. I'm just curious how many employees we absorbed. In the fall, we acquired a company that I almost applied to once I finished my MT training, but there were a lot of negative comments on MT forums about their schedules, flexibility, compensation etc. So I was glad I decided to not try for employment there. I guess it would have worked out in the end huh? I feel really lucky to have landed a spot with the company I work for. The first MT group I worked for was very small and I was an independent contract position. Within 5 weeks of starting, I was out of work due to a contract dispute with the hospital acct, my company and another MT company. Because I was hired as an IC on a specific account, I was SOL with no work and no income indefinitely. I won't go that route again.
