Drott, I would stick with the safe food (my puppies ate Pedigree all the time!) and just add supplements for their joints. There are lots of places that carry glucosamine/chondroitin, for people or pets.

I've really been concerting changing back to Pedigree.there a good company and they support lots of recuse and have adoption drives.

Happy Birthday to my Marley-man! He's 4 today. And, he is is totally down with sharing it with Violet! He sends warm birthday wishes to her as well. Looks to be a big puppy party today! Happy birthday Violet!

Grimm and Simon both snubbed dry eventually, but they were both on home cooked from the time we got them as puppies before we tried to switch. Now we use dehydrated raw. Simon loves it, Grimm not so much unless we use half the dehydrated raw and half frozen raw. Zach will eat anything.

Good news posse. I picked my paint colors!!!:banana::banana:

*until tomorrow, when it's time to purchase it*

I use "The Honest Kitchen". I like the fact that their food is packaged in a plant that packages human food. They are the only raw food that has that does that so far, which means they are REALLY certified as having human grade food ingredients, not just making the claim.

I'm going with a dark brown grey for the family room. Lenny says it will look like a cave, that makes me happy. I'm going with a lighter shade of the same color for the office. I wanted to do dark in there too, but Lenny made a face. I can normally withstand such faces, but I figure since he works in there too *okay, he plays I work* that I would capitulate to the face. The kitchen and mudroom are going to be a creamy white with a tinge of purple and the powder room will be a dark dusty plum. The hallways, for now, are going to be white, just a shade or two darker than the ceilings. I'm getting a gorgeous glass tile mosaic that has greys, light plums, olives and some tans in it for the kitchen backsplash. I'll see if I can find pictures of the tile.

Found it:

Sallie, that tile is gorgeous! Love the color scheme that you have chosen. Pics when you are done, please!

Thanks, that's the brand I was looking at. I'll see what my boys think.

I word to the wise, do not get the keen. It is LOADED with garlic. I'm using Force and Embark mostly now and it's not bad. The Verve is okay too. It's very "grassy" feeling, my guys happen to love veggies and they graze like sheep so it's all good to them. It's not really grass, but that is what it reminds me off.
