JD my prayers are with your family.

Good morning Friday!!! It will be a beautiful day with a high of 87.

11 more days until I get to see my beautiful daughter!!! I haven't seen her since Christmas and miss her like crazy! She will only be here for a week and 1/2 I wish she could stay the whole summer.

Tomorrow is our annual neighborhood garage sales - gates open at 7 a.m. and no I am not participating. People around here want to pay pennies, in MN garage sale prices were much higher Its so funny here, they pull up in their BMW's or Mercedes, get out, speak Russian and then ask if you'll take a quarter for a barely used (outgrown) pair of teen boy jeans. No offense to any Russians here Then they take their goods and go to the flea market and sell them in their booths at a much higher price - its quite humorous if you think about it! Maybe I need to get a booth at the flee market Then I can get a beamer! HA!

Afternoon Janie. Wow, a whole neighborhood organized garage sale? Our neighborhood barely speaks to one another, but then again we are not in a gated community and we're actually pretty rural.

I should properly introduce myself too. The resident witchdoctor here. I have a Mr. V and two boxers. Jake and Victor. This posse will tell you that Victor is INNOCENT. My laundry baskets and chickens vote NO. The jury is still out. I also have a koi pond in the back. I live in a hut in the woods of WI, Copper Creek is in a hut in town, otherwise known as hut 2. I have a Sonny as well, and I think that's about it.

WI - the best cheese ever My kids went to Bible camp near Grantsburg and between Grantsburg & the camp there was this tiny little creamery that had the best ice cream cones and cheese! I always brought a cooler to stock up on cheese. I've spend much time in WI - my son snowboarded there, Apple River, my cousins have a cabin on the Yellow (something) River, I thinks its near Danbury.

The association organizes the garage sale, they put up the signs. Trust me, this is the only time people in this neighborhood talk to each other, otherwise its the California mentality, drive into your garage, shut door, no socializing. Far cry from home (MN). A lot of communities here do big neighborhood garage sales. I like to go the sales in a town up the road that is quite wealthy - you get amazing deals! Last year I got a vintage china set (18 full settings) for $15.

Update: he's out of surgery. Dr. said the surgery went well. He'll be in recovery a couple hours and then back to ICU.

Hi all. Sorry for being MIA. I hurt my back the other day and went in for acupuncture this morning. So I was very late to work today. I hate that.

Mini catch up:

pf, I live in a cottage in the woods, and as I am the witchdoctor, we call it the hut. The actual Copper Creek building is in town.

No od on cheese cake or cheese curds, honest. Well, I didn't. VV might have....

Victor says Hi and wants to be on a t-shirt! Mr. V will look into it.

We have a local machinist working on CC Carto punches. Woo Hoo!

My wife went to a chiropractor (sp?) and it seems to have helped her quite a bit with back pain. It certainly is not cheap, but it has helped a number of people that I know! I hope you feel better soon FV!

P.S. If all else fails get Victor to run up and down your back... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that...
