More thunder and lightening and pouring rain today. It happens every long weekend here. All weekend. I don't know why people still plan cookouts or bbq's.

Cooking out.Making mac and potato salad.Ribbs and BBQ shrimp for the grill.Like to maranate 24-48 hours.Just haven't decided on SUn or Mon.If it's like other years.It will be both.Monday will be leftover potato mac salad and Homemade HBs.Soo if their not here Sun.they get Leftovers.

We'll cook out this weekend, rain or not. I won't melt, neither will Mr. V or the boys.

Janie, the ice cream needs to steep.
If you have the smoktech dual coil cartos, the Xl ones will fit the tank. The ridge on the bottom of the carto should fit an indented part on one end of the tank.
I don't have one here or I would post a pic. Sorry.

Oh wise one, you are right, but the carto does not stick up through the top, just reaches the top, enough to put a drip tip on. But I'm not buying them again, I burnt the first two!

With all of hubby's woodworking tools, he is going to show me how to use these cute little mini clamps to hold the cartos and make holes. I asked him if the drill press would work, but he thinks it would get metal into the carto. Oh well - thought it would be easier!

Good morning all! Happy Memorial Day weekend!!!

Plans: Daughter arrives in Sacramento at 12:30 tomorrow (jumping for joy). BBQ at neighbors tomorrow night. Monday we may drive up to South Lake Tahoe and do some exploring - not sure because of the traffic coming back down the mountain after the long weekend (I hate traffic - especially on the two lane road). Plus it snow up there yesterday and my son may think "snowboarding".

I would love some snow right now... Just hit 92 degrees on the asphalt.
