Good evening folks! Well, we got creamed in our scrimmage, but its ok. We tried a few different strategies that we were pretty sure wouldnt work, but had to give them a shot. We also found a few issues that needed to be addressed. For the most part, the girls played pretty well, but once we started falling behind, you could see the confidence level dropping in them. That lead to more mistakes and started the negative feedback loop. We also had a few hurt feelings. This tournament you can only play 9 girls. Offense and defense. That means we had two that had to be on the bench. Its not like we played in our rec center league, where everyone batted regardless of if they were on the field or not. There were other issues too, but those were the big ones.

First real game is tomorrow morning at 10:45. As usual, I will try to keep you guys up to date. Have a good weekend!!!

I never have to wonder any more what it is that has woken me up. Before I even open my eyes in the morning I know I will have three sets of them staring back at mine. One amber, one blue and one green. It's typically the green ones that are staring the most intently with the nose in front of them about 1 inch from my nose. Like he's checking to see if I'm still breathing or something. :glare:
