My happiness at getting out early today was dashed later in the afternoon. I got a call from work, I have to stay until the truck comes tomorrow. That means 5:30-6pm... on a Saturday! I'm usually out of there by 3pm.

At least it's supposed to be a bit "cooler" tomorrow, about 97F instead of 99F!

The shoulder is finally off the grill!!! Only 14 hours of smoke. No pix yet. Gotta keep it covered to rest. Gimme an hour and I'll take pix before I shred/pull/chop.

It wasn't ECF, my internet's been acting wonky for the past week. I'll go to click a link, and find out I'm not online. I share (wireless) connection with my son's computer, and the router is attached to his. I think he must have moved it or accidentally hit the cables or something.

Sorry about your router! I think ECF is just slow for me.

micro break. Thank heavens for Friday. And I just got the good news that my son is coming up for the weekend.

I.AM.HOME. A normal 2.5 hour drive was 6 hours of stop & go traffic!!! My hubby's foot hurts from all that breaking! Even the car pool lane was stop & go. Here I am, dusty house & near dead plants....sigh...enough laundry from my son & I being gone all week!

My son is home to, I saw him for 5 minutes so he could get money to buy help pay for pizza at the neighbors!

Ready for bed....at 7:50 p.m.
