Can't like that. My washer is leaking. I'm trying to pretend I don't see it.

I need to get a new dryer. It's slowly falling apart bit by bit. First the light inside (tried replacing, still won't work), then the door handle broke off, the cycle knob broke (replaced black one with white), and now it just never shuts off. I bought a refurbished Maytag washer when we moved here in 94, still works as well as the day I got it. The dryer was new. I'm not looking forward to shopping for one.

I got mine during the memorial day sale at Sears for a great price for the set.

I really like them now that they both work

But someone suggested to me, after I bought them, that I should have gotten the HE top loaders. I have been very preoccupied with the thought that I should have. lol

I have the HE top loaders - love them! We've had them for about 7 years without one problem. Got them at Sears.

Well Mr. Hubby has gone over board, not only did he go to get a filter, he also stopped and got me banannas and a strawberry/rhubarb pie which is slightly unheard of out here. And he went to the "good" grocery store!

I thought the best way to honor the passing of my beloved kitt Molly was to go save another kitty from the needle. This little guy and I hit it off right away, so I brought him home to be Fatboy's lil brudder. I named him Ruger. He's an LCP right now, but he'll be a magnum pretty soon. I wish I had his energy!

What a weekend. The boat is coming together nicely. Got the bow light wired back up, both hand rails, wind screen, new ignition switch, hardware for the port side hatch, and the ski ladder/hand rails on, and got all of the seat cushions on the port side bolted on. Still gotta lot to do, but its closer to the water now than it was on friday!
