Ours caught a frog. As they all dashed around chasing the one that had it, she dropped the frog and never noticed that Mr. V now had it. Frog was happily back in the pond and they were still chasing each other.![]()

I'll be having the same problem soon.I would like to keep 2 of the silkies their 5mos.But not shure how the 1 1/2 year olds are going to take to them.Thought I'd dig out one of the dog crates and set inside the pen.Get them aquainted. Then turn then loose in a few days.My old bk ones a picker. She picks on my brock and I hatched them at the same time theve always been together.
Don't realy need more eggs though. We have a hard time using the 14 we get a week now.![]()
I have the tenders in a crate inside the teens space. Today is only day 2, I'll try letting them out of the crate again tomorrow after work. They were ignoring them so I thought it would be ok today. nope. Might take awhile. And one of the marans is a little roo. oops.
I was lucky this time.Out of the 9 silkies that hatched only 3 were roos.Theve already found new homes.![]()
Or inthis case neck.
Do you not keep the roosters?

If this one turns out to be the only roo I'll probably keep him. Depending on how nice he is of course.
Not aloud roos or I would have keep one.![]()

Stretchy, you know how it is when you have too many women in the same kitchen for a weekend? That's how hens are. It's their yard, new little hens have no business there.

Why can't you have roosters and who says so?
