Ugh, I've been whining on here to much already but now I'm ticked. Wife found out from neighbors they had to run some kids off shooting bb guns in our yard while we were gone. pool has two holes in it and half the water drained

Geez, JD! I think I have a rabbit's foot around here I can send you.

I can understand... it is never fun... at least you did not have what happened to me on my last vacation before I was married... I came home to my apartment door left kicked open... naturally nearly everything that was small and portable was gone along with the TV set. Not everything was gone so it likely happened the day I was driving home. I'm about 90% certain it was the guy in the apartment next to mine too. :(

I still do not likel vacations now due to thoughts of that possibility. :(
That is horrible!!

That's quite the job. I have trouble moving a Newfoundland away from the dinner table...I couldn't imagine moving a pasture of things somewhere else.
I want a Newfy but I don't think I can afford to feed another giant dog nor do I have the room.

Guess what I'm having for dinner?? Go ahead guess....BLT's no figs...

salad here.

Hrmm. Why hello there. Found another old thread - it's been ~nine months.

Looks like CC has done bloody well for FV's original mission. Congratulations!

First quick housekeeping - Making my way back - lots of confusion..

So there are lots of things I have to catch up on across every facet of life. Just remarking threads, saying hello, ..

I'm not dead yet, -Mags

{{{{Magnus!!!}}}} Good to see you!! :):):)

Finally got some news, her heart is ok, has a hiatal hernia, they are still running some test
My dad had that, it's irritating but you can learn what triggers it so you can avoid it as much as possible.

I went in to boot camp at 170, 34 inch waist. Came out at 170, 32 inch waist.... And that was the last time I saw 32. The last time I saw 34, I was still 190. Thats my goal this time! I just dont like the work that goes with it.
I gained 15 pounds in boot camp, and I swear it was 7 1/2 in each thigh! I had to really work to get my civilian jeans on. Not a bit of fat though, all those exercises and running!

Sallie's husband is now in the kitchen painting over what that painters just painted. I kid you not.
Oh boy...

Yes really. The yellow was the only color I didn't paint test strips all over the kitchen. BIG mistake. It looks nuclear. It's hideous. Thank goodness my husband thinks so too, and really thank goodness he picked the color. The painters painted daffodil. We are repainting a lovely mellow lemon.
 My mom did that with our summer place! And it was yellow, yes nuclear yellow, but it was the outside of the house. The neighbors were relentless in teasing her, "Mary, you know I think they can see your place from space!".:lol::lol:

Good afternoon Creekers! Just to make y'all feel better about yourselves, ol' Spicy here tips the scales at a svelte 330 lbs. I'm tall and broad which helps stretch it out, but not tall enough to stretch it that much. I'm not fluffy, I'm a fat slob, let's call it what it is!

The Dropkick Murphy's wrote a song about me:

OMG! I love the Dropkick Murphys! :):):)

Oh no JD. Go to bed. Pull the covers up over your head and stay there. :(
Yup, I think JD needs a do-over.

OK - so a few questions in passing. The reviews on the Black Currant aren't entirely clear on if any of these ppl have actually had Black Currant. ;-)

Anybody want to make a more direct comparison for me please?

Also, the Buttered Rum - FV - did I ever try that? The Vermillion knocked it out of the park for me, don't recall if I tried the CC version.

Slowly figuring out where to start again. Mods and everything. I can't believe it's all gone - although vaping gear is minor in comparison to the rest. Cheers, -Magnus

And I am back. Finished up and raced for home. Can't let Victor get hungry, we all know what happens then.

Magnus: I liken the Black Currant to a grape with attitude, though I am sure that someone will give you their unbiased opinion shortly. It's all natural, so none of that creepy candy flavor to it.

I don't think you ever tried the Buttered Rum. I introduced it around the holidays, I think. I'm at home so don't have the work stuff here with me. We moved the business to town at the beginning of the year.

Sallie, Did Mr. Sallie get the kitchen done? How does it look non-daffodil?

So far I like the Vivi Nova though it seems to mute the flavor a bit at first. I keep striking out with my rba. Try, try again....

The first saying I remember of my Grandmothers large collection: There is no excuse for dirty. Soap is cheap and water is free. Why that one stuck, I don't know.

Sorry - haven't caught up. Been in bed with pain. Doc called in a new pain prescription and AJ is running up to get it. She still hasn't called me in regards to my knee x-ray last night. She always waits for the radiologist to look at it, so another 24 hours at the very least.

Sorry - I'm in a pissy mood. I'm researching for a new doctor, one that cares. Problem is that with our HMO you have to choose a doctor not a clinic. I want my PPO BACK!

Sorry - lousy Tuesday. To top it all off, non of my juices taste good today - nothing. I've tried a bunch, they all taste the same. Maybe I've lost my taste buds too.

Going back to hide in bedroom where it is dark and colder.

Tiff, that is cute! I love teaching my two new tricks. If I ask mine "who's been good today?" They each raise a hand high in the air. We know Victor's lying, but he gets a treat anyway. :D

Janie, time for a new Doctor and to go lay down. :(

I just can't beleive you doubt poor poor inoccent Victor.

can't like any of that, Janie. Hopefully the new pain meds will help. You're entitled to be in a bad mood! It's not unusual to have bad taste bud days. I have those too when nothing tastes like it's supposed to or I can't get any taste. It will pass.bighug.gif

He's saving it up for something really good. Though it won't be his fault.

Poor innocent Victor was good again today. That's rather scary. Though he has been really awful to Jake the past few days. He just can't stop pestering the old guy. He pokes him with a foot and jumps back. As soon as Jake falls back to sleep, Victor pokes him again.

Not done. His will to paint went as far as painting one wall lemon yellow and another wall spa blue. We picked a final color and over the next few days I'll do the cutting in and he'll do the rolling. I'm too tired from work today to get started. It was not nearly as craptacular as JD's day, but it was close for a whole host of reasons. I would like to just hire someone else, but considering how mad I was after the painters left today when I walked around and saw all the problems (and the custom silk roman shade they ruined), it's probably for the best that we just do it ourselves. I might get ...... at myself or Lenny for messing up, but at least I won't stay mad and I'll save a chunk of change (enough at least to replace the aforementioned custom silk roman shade that got ruined).

I do like this!
Love this!
I think we should all go to Sallie's house and paint the walls fruit stripe while she sleeps. -Magnus
