My ex was a great cook, and I always told him if he cooked I would clean up. I thought it was a fair deal, trouble is, he never returned the favor.

I do the same thing when I'm cooking. But if it's someone else cooking, I stay out of the way!
I always take an extra bag for shopping when I go on vacation! Another good strategy (especially when you travel by motorcycle) is to ship your goodies home.
James, watch out for the sodium content in those Lean Cuisines. Much better to make your own frozen dinners from leftovers. I did that a lot when the boys were small, and when daddy had duty I could take a night off once in a while!

OMG, that reminded me of when I first started working at the P.O. We had a different postmaster, he was a shortish round little man, and somewhat clueless. He didn't make personal appearances very often, as he preferred to let the supervisors run the show. So the first time he walks in, the guys started whistling, first one then about half of them - "If I Only Had a Brain"!!!He honestly had no clue, and wasn't upset or really notice it at all!
