Let me just say. Wow.

That's all you really need for the review, but I'll go in a little more depth for clarity's sake.

Appearance:
If you are in the market for a battery mod, appearances are a big part of what you're looking at. The copper appealed to me because it looks so unlike a mass-produced PV. It is literally a 3.5 inch piece of copper pipe with hex nuts screwed on either end, and a big old atomizer sticking up out of the top. I'm totally cool with this. Not to say it doesn't look professional; the whole setup is clean and stylish, but it has that "homemade" feel that I was looking for. I got the 801 atomizer, hearing that it was a little more reliable at 6v than a regular 510.
8/10 in appearance for the rather long connector to the atomizer, wish it was 1 cm shorter as a unit.

Vapor:
Holy crap. Moving from experiences with a VX2 and 401, and trying various other models owned by friends, I can say this makes everything else I've seen pale in comparison. I'm running at 6V, and the vapor is a force to be reckoned with. I am used to taking full 4-5 second draws, but on this I only need 1-2 seconds at most to get a huge plume of vapor and an incredible throat hit that even eclipses real cigarettes. The vapor also tastes much better than on lower powered devices. I am not, as of yet, getting any burnt taste, although the vapor is much warmer than I am used to (which I count as a plus)

Battery life:
No complaints. I am not an incredibly heavy vaper, and when I'm on my computer I use a passthrough. One battery charge gets me through the whole day. Here lies my only complaint with the copper: The batteries must be completely removed to charge the device. However, a charger was included with my kit, and it works just swell.
10/10 because removing the battery for charging is really not enough of a drawback to dock points (it's also part of having the 6v mod that I knew was coming)

Operation:
Special note here. The Copper is manually activated by making the atomizer connector touch the positive end of the batteries. There are no buttons, lights, wires, microphones or any of that mess. It takes a second or two to get used to, but I am using it like second nature now. I also appreciate that I can rest soundly that no electronics or wires will short or corrode and render the device useless. This is clearly very reliable and durable. The atomizer connector wobbles some, but this is part of the design, and I am not afraid of it breaking. The only downside on operation is that if this goes in upside down in your pocket, it will remain on until you feel it burning through your pants. be careful carrying it around.
9/10

Customer Service (AtmosUsa):
I only sent Rick one email, asking if I had ordered everything I needed, and he responded within 10 hours (it was very late when I sent the message) that I was good to go. His site is very well laid out, and a clever shopper can save a couple dollars here and there. His inventory of atomizers, connectors and cartridges is very good and very clear (as at 6V one must know if an atomizer is approved for high voltage use) and his prices are really great on liquids and replacement parts. Shipping is adequate, as I ordered mine just before the 4th of july weekend. I simultaneously ordered some liquid from litecigusa, and my order from them arrived 2 days later, while this arrived 4 days after order. Not at all a complaint, as a 4 day shipping time including a holiday weekend is still an astounding feat (I'm in CA, by the way, so shipping from Maryland takes some time).
10/10

Overall:
This is my first e cig review. I absolutely had to review this device because it has met and exceeded all my expectations and I felt the need to share it with all of you. The only thing that I would change, and this is, of course, impossible, is the rate at which this thing eats up liquid. The carts are very large to accommodate this, but I still find myself dampening up the atomizer fairly often to keep it cool and fresh.

This is an excellent battery mod at an incredible price, and if you're in the market, Rick certainly has the most bang-for-your-buck on my dollar.

Very nice review, Corbin. I've had the Copper (r2v2) for about 2 months now. Even though I've since acquired numerous other mods, I still find the Copper to be my "go-to" PV. I think it's the only PV in my collection that gets used, if only for a short time, each and every day. It just works.......and works......and works. Oh, and Rick is indeed wonderful to deal with. Also, his mod battery prices are among the lowest I've seen. In some cases, his 2 packs are less expensive than other vendors charge for a single.
Thanks for sharing. :D
