The Copper Review

was it ? seem pretty straight forward to me

Sorry Kit, but I watched it again and the video doesn't even show his mouth, the most you can see it his chin. I realize he showed pushing the atomizer in with his finger, but it's difficult to tell how much pressure is used. I think what is being asked is how difficult it is pushing it in when in the mouth.

Doesn't matter too much either way to me, although I am curious. I've already ordered one and am excited to get it. I don't think it'll be much of a problem, but it would be nice to have an answer. If I really like it I may order another one.

I ordered one and then backed out as I am an idiot and didn't read.. I for some reason saw 4075 instead of 4081 for the atty, and I just don't want to support a new atty. I have a TON of 901 and 510 attys, but apparently they don't last as well with 6+V of power. I have never burnt one of either of them out yet, but I have to take the experts advice. He says he will build one in a few weeks for the 901 but it won't be supported... I guess that means don't come crying when it blows up your attys every couple days.. lol.

Still, I want one. Maybe I could even mod it to run a 3.7V CR123 battery, which I prefer more than HIGH voltage vaping anyway.. just love the design. I might actually try and work some sort of shorter mod with the brass pipe just for myself. With a single CR123, it could be a lot shorter... still last a good long time on one battery as well. I think I will go with a button though... that push to vape thing looks cool, but will wait for a review on here...

Titan: I totally understand. I wasn't going to order one for the same reason. Then I checked the batteries and I have about 10 of the ones needed I had purchased for another mod I backed out on (I think it was the GG, not sure), and I have 4 chargers. The 4081 is the very first e-cig I used and it's now put away, but I went and checked my supplies and I have 26 atomizers so I thought, what the heck, I've got the batteries and I've got the chargers and the atomizers that right now are just sitting around because I love the Screwdriver (have 2) and my all time favorite, the Prodigy (will have 2, second one is in the mail). But again, I have these batteries and I have the atomizers so now, I'll have a PV to go with them.

Cool.. I have 2 new working Screwdrivers and one thats in need of some assistance, but it will work soon. I also have a mod in the mail that I am looking forward to, its called a Super-T... very nicely made but we will have to see. You can order a sleeve for it that takes it to 6V as well, so maybe I will just go that route. I would love to order a prodigy, but am waiting for them to catch up... I am still waiting for a Passthru from them that I ordered several weeks ago... getting impatient with them.

Good luck and let us all know how you like the copper.

Yep, just ordered one for the same reasons. Mostly though, just want to look under the covers.

PS - This is probably not something you want to walk around outside or at an airport with. Pipe... batteries.... thing sticking out that you push... killshot to the head... whoops, we are sorry mrs. blah blah....

Oh, I plan to have fun with this one. I'm going to file off the corners on the nuts while watching some movie. Probably end up doing some sort of engraving. I think it's going to end up looking pretty awesome when I'm done.

HAHA.. not sure DC is the place to be walking around with a smoking pipe bomb lookin thingy....I am sure the engraving will let them know its nothing dangerous... unless you engrave it with "Down with Obama" or similar...I would personally go with "Kiss this FDA"

Zo, this I want to see, it'll be beautiful. Just, I hope, not too beautiful or I'll have to do it too. Be careful of those filings!

Titan. Can you PM me a link to that Super-T? Sounds wonderful. I have an AdapteR that I don't use much, but Thad is going to make a sleeve for it and boy do I want that sleeve, then I'll probably have to get another AdapteR!

I'm sure it's a real thin coil spring with just enough tension to keep the atomizer contact away from the battery so you can hold the cartridge with your teeth and apply light pressure to the end of the tube and push inward to make contact while you drag on it.

Sorry I wasn't around to answer this, Houdini is right again!
I've been getting several questions about using other atties. I'm really worried about using other atties on 6 volts. This 4081 has been tried and trusted.
On one of my prototypes the "switch" got stuck down...fried the batteries, but I'm still using the same atomizer!
BTW: some of you folks have the RN4081 and 510 atties...aren't the threads the same? Maybe someone can check that out for me? Never mind, they're different.

OK, how do this people get away with this?
I thought there was a special place in the forum for "dealers".
I am as a matter of fact sure there is such category, and i have seen many small time modders getting beat up by the moderators for posting for sale stuff in the modders section.
I am guessing there is some kind of agenda here?, or is it just that "supporting" members can do as they please but others can't?
It is obvious that this is no review but blatant promotion for this "product". I have nothing against it but the fact that it is being posted here.
Moderators, it would be nice to know, i have read the rules and i think i am right on what i am saying. Does the "copper" have special privileges i am not aware of?

No they are not the same. The cigs are the same diameter but the atomizers threads are different diameter and threads are different. The 4081 batteries will work in a 510 PCC because it just sits on the chargers connector and doesnt have to screw on to it.

And for the people who haven't used the rn4081 atty...they are rock solid performers, maybe not that popular but for me ive ABUSED mine and it just keeps working and working.

That was sweet Kit, thank you! I am pleasantly shocked!!! I just got a shipping notice ALREADY from MuldRick, it's on it's way!!!! That was much quicker than I expected! WOW!!

Will let you know when I receive it. I love the SD, but right now the Prodigy is my main vape. Looking forward to this Copper. It's going to be fun and the looks sure will be different!

Hmmm, my mod, my site.
So...what shall I say, probably best to say nothing but here goes.
First, to the 2 positve posts: thanks very much for you positive reviews. I truly appreciate it.

Listen, I'm just a smuck turning wrenches at a Toyota dealer, just trying to make a couple of bucks.
I started making mods just for my personal use and posted them in the modders section.
The Copper (not "The Brass", sorry about the technicality there) got some great comments from people here.
The reason I decided to sell it was because of people suggesting I should sell it.

Funny how 2 people here that HAVE the unit give it good reviews, the rest that do NOT have the unit bash it.
Price: parts alone cost 15-20 bucks, time to build it about 2 hours. $56.00 is not excessive. Why don't you buy a "flashlight" for $160.00 instead.

Name: Funny...a flashlight called the "Screwdriver". You better start bashing his stuff too, and the Nico"stick" (it's a box!), and the GG (what the hell is that?) and so on.

Marketing: Dang, wish I had 10-20-30 grand to market this correctly. Can I borrow some?

Please, let me see some of YOUR mods so I can give my "mature" opinion.

Oh, I won't respond to flaming...I'm done with this post.

First of all, i agree about the "Screwdriver", people should bash it, and i think it is a big rip-off.
Nicosticks are not being sold formally, just in private deals no one knows about.
The GG is hand made from scratch, not based on any existing device, which is a WORLD of difference. (i don't care about it cause i make my own mods).
Your device is not made from scratch therefore it is a mod, you are entitled to sell it, as much as anyone else does and no one is being forced to buy it, but as i said in my other post here, this thread should NOT be in the modders forum, it belongs to the reviews or suppliers section.
People that bash your mod are also entitled to do so. I have my personal opinion about everything and i don't always choose to make it public, some others do.
Ignorance abounds everywhere and this forum is filled with false claims about most everything.
I like your mod but i would never buy it because i can make one myself, some others do not have the know how so they prefer to pay for it. Some others don't have the time or the tools so they also rather pay for it.

Fair price?, what is fair price in this world?, when you have to pay $35,000 for a pile of junk like a chrysler or any other American car, (or some korean made cars).
If people were informed about how much it cost to produce one of those cars, they would be in horror and would rather be bashing them than your little profit with the copper.
Fair price?, when you have to pay $3.99 for 2 switches at radio sharks when the truth is it is produced in China for less than 0.02 cents on the dollar?, so much for "free" trade LOL.
Get a grip people, complain about the right things.
If not, go buy yourselves an Apple computer and pay $1,700 and be happy with it. The truth is it will cost them less than $200 to produce and market it.
So you still think muldrick is ripping you off? :D
