you need a much smaller one like a 2 or 3ml. They are skinnier. The rubber on plunger come off and is open on the end. By stretching it over the mouth part of a carto and putting the rubber side on a hard surface, you can bang on the thread end of the carto with a hammer to make a perfect grommet. You guys are going to force me to buy new syringes so I can post pics. I have three ce2/turbos in rotation right now and they are awesome!

If I go to a hardware store in the next few days, I'll take the orings I am using to figure out what size they are, Because the outside of the plunger piece has a beveled edge, it holds it but I have to tuck it in with a flat head screwdriver. Once it's in, it's not going anywhere and there can be no leaks.

I see what you mean. Actual grommets seem the way to go. Meanwhile...echo dual coils are awesome at 5 volts. Not as hot as I feared it would be. Its great. A personal thanks to Errol who showed me the way to this sweet spot.

Edit: actually its a public thanks!

The thing about the rubber plunger is it is a little softer than an actual grommet so you can squeeze it in better. I have failed so far to find a grommet that fits the turbo shell because you need to be a little more exact in size.

I like them a lot but I don't use them with my echos. I only use echo cartos with my echo batteries.

I tried an e-turbo on one of my auto Egos. Thought I was in vaping heaven with great flavor and vapor. But big mistake... they leak! Battery died after two days with the turbo on it. Will stick with the Echomizers from here on out on my autos since I've had success for close to a year using this combination.
The lesson I guess is "Ya need to stick with those that brung ya".

The EchoE's never gave me problems with my autos. I guess "Ya need to stick with those that brung ya".

Where did you get your ego auto? I guess it wasn't sealed eh. If they aren't sealed you are right, it is best to stick with the Echomizers. I had the same problem with the ego auto I got from VG. I'm not sure if I got juice in it or it was just a flacky battery. Mine only lasted a couple of days too.

I'm glad you got this working, can't wait to see which o ring makes the almost good enough syringe plunger just right

what did you end up using at the top of the clearo for sealing/mouthpiece?

Curious to see how this Volt X2 compares to my echos, I'll eventually take one for the team if someone doesn't beat me to it

And keep an eye out 'over there,' they're releasing some kind of large carto soon (hopefully a clearo, but I'm not getting my hopes too high)

I support you taking one for the team lol. I've been curious about it.

Good I'll let you do this one. I tried the ego auto and it only lasted two days. The x2 should be much better than the ego auto. If they weren't so much more expensive than the echo I would have already tried one.

Go for it Cyrus. I'm with Tx. Too expensive for a regulated battery. I'm sure it will perform like any other SI battery which is good but pretty much makes it like the led version echo but with cone threads.

I would have been willing to give the Vaporsmith battery a try. They seem to have erased all memory of it from the website.

They have problems with it, based on their forum they re-manufacture it now and will recall and replace all sold batteries. Probably within 1-2 weeks.

Form-wise, it basically the same as sealed stealth Echo but with cone thread. Same battery post, same size of light hole at the end of it.

Volt X2 batt is nice, but since I only use fat batt with Kuwako, it doesn't make any sense to get a PT :D

Hmmmm.....Hangsen has problems with the stealth and now it's over. Vaporsmith recalls their stealth and now is set to re-release. Tell me, what was the mah of their charger?

420mAh.

Most of the problem is the battery post is a bit too low - so it doesn't make proper contact with cartos.

One thing I found interesting by reading at their forum. The auto takes forever to charge (like mine - I leave it all night) while the manual doesn't. VS explained it happened because the auto has 5 seconds cut-off and the manual has 10 seconds. So one of their 'solution to the problem' is either to extend the auto cut-off to 10 seconds (yay! for me :p) or modified the charger (boo!) - but since the status is 'recall all', I hope they made the cut-off longer.

Will someone explain to me what the difference is between Echo Dual Coil @ Smoktek.com, known as the (Echomizer) and the ECH0 DUAL COIL CARTO from Cropduster901 or HS Dual Coil ECHO Cartomizer from Mtnvapor.com other than price. Are the latter two manufactured by Hangsen and the Smoktek by a different manufacturer?

I have only used HS Dual Coil ECHO Cartomizer from Mtnvapor and D&B Gold and all have been first rate.

Didn't the problems some have spoke of with the DC Echo start after the so called Echomizer was introduced.

Inquiring minds want to know! :)

They are all the same and all from Hangsen as far as I know. They were just required to change the name to HS Echo because of name rights from someone.
