Any word on the dual coil cartos being available?

Tony at Cropduster was looking for his today. Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52

Tony says his order is delayed by the Manufacture and it will be a couple of weeks

Tony has the echo USB chargers on his site if anyone wants to order an extra one. Being as it takes a long time to charge these it is handy to have an extra one or two also if one fails it is the only charger you can use with the Echo. I had two but lost one so Tony ordered some extras. He has them at a great price of 2.75. He is also selling the echo batteries individually now!

Also, for those who have been using the new Echo dual coil cartomizers, how have they been holding up for the past few weeks? Similar life span to the standard echo carts? Also curious if there will be an Echo-E dual coil option. Been chomping at the bit to try these new carts out...

I received the Echo-E dual option with some juice about 2 weeks ago. It's been holding up just fine and vaped great. It had a little Mountain Vapor Logo on it so I knew it from all my regular echo-e cartos. Just yesterday the battery with the carto attached must have flipped out of my golf cart about the 15th hole. I miss it and can't wait to order more of these duals. Luckily I had another battery and carto to finish my game. I must admit I was sad about the loss of that cartomizer and battery but I did win $30 bucks in the golf game that should just cover the replacement. Hope everyone's holiday was good![/QUOTE]

They seem to be holding up the same as the single coil and yes they have Echo-e dual coil cartos. Sorry to hear you lost one I know how that goes. I've been using a lanyard lately and that is working good for carrying them.

So last night i was sitting here enjoying my eGo MEGA dual coil cartomizer with my brand new auto battery, and was thinking, "man this is the life". Except this damn rubber flat tip is floppy and the opening is way too large for my liking. And unfortunately, there's no hard plastic whistle tips available to fit this beast.

And then like a lightning bolt from the heavens into my brain came an idea!

Unlike many ideas that happen this way, this particular one ended up quite well.

I took one of the rubber whistle tips that came with an echo cartomizer I got a while back (you save stuff you know you wont need too, right?) and with a few modifications, my eGo had become BOSS. Here take a look.

some pics of the cartomizer and tip as normal here and here

step 1 take an echo standard rubber whistle tip and a pair of scissors and do this:

step 2 insert the flat end inside eGo Mega dc rubber tip:

step 3 become BOSS:

next project: doing the same with the hard plastic whistle tips you can get off 808 carts (hmm where's my metal saw?)

Good idea DV. That's why I didn't care for the emdcc was the big sponge mouthpiece. Nasty rubber flavor too. Now if they could manufacture a few of the delrin or plastic tips like used on the Leo carts to fit. I use the Leo hard whistle tips on my Echo-E cartomizers as they stay on and don't interfere with taste. Anyway keep thinking!
p.s. You should use that Boss picture as your avatar...too cute and much more handsome.

I've been checking out Cropduster latelly and saw the new 510-N kit he has. Looks pretty cool for $55.00! The kit comes with a couple 3000mah 18650's, a couple echo carts, 510 atty's and charger. Also the adapter for 510-901 connectivity. 3000 mah! Now that should last all day long. Going to get one, give it a try with the echo carts. If it works out well the big Silver Bullet is going into the classifieds.

I have a 510N and it works great with the Echo carto's. Really wakes them up, you'll be hooked before long.

Cool! I've been wondering how one of the new dual coils will mesh with this unit as well. I imagine about the same vapor as any 3.7 volt batt, though the 3,000 mah should really prolong things. It's kind of hard to tell in the pic, does the button have a chrome like finish like the rest of the unit? Also curious if the button is mosfet-driven, how many amps it can handle. Looking forward to getting this one, I must vape a lot as I burn through 2-3 650 mah batts a day and about 10ml's of juice. Looks like this combination will work for the better.

Several good questions here. I am curious too. Tony (fogdaddy) can answer your questions directly on this thread...

The entire unit is chrome, very slick looking. As far as the button goes I know Mr. Tony sent off for spec's not to long ago. He has a Cropduster thread on here that you can hit him up on. That is a lot of juice to go through sir, I am impressed! Lol. The good thing is that it is a manual so you can let it heat the carto to the desired temp for you so it can really make the juice come alive.

Echo E Update

Been using the Echo E for 8 weeks now and wanted to update my previous comments.

I've used the same carto for all eight weeks (about 4 mls per day) and it is still going strong. I clean it with mohawkx method about every 6 or 7 days. (Basically remove filler, rinse with boiling water, dry burn coil, and rinse again with boiling water. Re-install filler.)

Good vapor
No leaks
Filling with dripping...no problem
Occasionally have to push the filler down to eliminate a slightly burnt taste

Tons of juice in my mouth with the mouthpiece that comes with the ECHO E....horrible but
I got my ECHO E from Bill and he included the 801 drip tip...which does solve the problem

I'll be interested to see how long this carto lasts

would be nice to see a side-by-side pic with the 3000mah battery and the echo 1300mah batt.

In this photo the ECHO 1300 is on the left, 510-N center and a Silver Bullet on the right. Thanks for the info on this guys, is looks like this will phase out the tired EGO's.
