I like to vape while I tinker, not tinker in order to vape.
I received a dead echo cart with my kit but I had sent an email immediately after placing the order asking if I could swap one of the extra echo carts I ordered for an echo-e. Instead of swapping, he just added it so it all worked out in the end. And I got something to play with. After dismantling and pulling out the connector, I stuck a pair of needle nose pliers in there and after some work and twirling and prying....and twirling and prying....and cursing and prying, I managed to remove the metal insert entirely. With that part removed, it slips snuggly into the silver band of the echo. Viola! Jumbo cone for my xl clearos. Draw is slightly tighter, but if you have a dead echo and some time to kill, it really looks great!
Now If only I had a tool to poke a hole in the side so airflow could come from the sides instead of from the top opening.
Charlz, looking forward to the day when I have a dead cart to play with like this. Did u ever get that airflow hole poled in the side? Pix? I was thinking I might just try my dremel tool. What do you think?

Oopps, is this it? They don't look fat enough, perhaps the photo is slimming? Did u get the derlin one (black) just wondering as I'm

Might be useful for sanding down the mouth part to a wider opening. It does not fit the thicker plastic or syringe mod clearos so that would be good. Tommorrow I am going to see if I can find a super thin drill bit, put the thing in a vice and try not to put bouncy scratch marks all over it.
Yep, that's the right page. I don't care for the Delrin plastic tips because in my experience they seem to collect more condensation than the aluminum. I have 3 chrome tips I ordered from I for forget where and 5 colored aluminum drip tips from Vapor Kings. Colors are, (all aluminum) black, silver, red, gold and purple Ikenvape has been out of the whistle tips for ages. I prefer the whistle tips but since the source is not there any more I decided to go with this type. The rubber whistle tips that come with the echomizers don't stay put very long............I've already lost 2.

Bad luck with echo-es as I pull them from my box. Poor QA. They don't feed right and turn awful tasting after a day. The DCs are worse. Back to searching for that better vape.
I like the delrin tips for hands free vaping. My new 650 is perfect for that. (The 1100 is better balanced and feels better "hand to mouth".) Less condensation is a good thing! I may have to pick some up for driving purposes and vaping in public. Do you think it's more about the larger hole in the aluminum or does the metal actually attract less condensation? Do you have any round-holed delrins?
@charlz I think it's all in the QA, nothing very mysterious or specific to one model over another. I even have one Echo-e that ive used with the same 100% VG juice for months. The coil has to be centered on the wick, and the wick centered in the tube, with the batting layers well wound. Then you get a carto that feeds well, tastes great and lasts long.
I just wasted 3ml of juice on a brand new sc echomizer that the post was off center on.....waited 30 minutes for everything to get where it should be......took a drag and...........instant burned taste. I HATE THAT. They cost too much for that kind of foolishness. I won't say where they came from but I have 5 more coming really soon and maybe I should just not accept delivery. G-r-r-r-r-r-r
actually it's even smarter than I remember. Remove syringe plunger, remove filler from cart and insert filler into syringe, replace plunger, squeeze juice into empty bottle. You may not want to try to save the juice it but damn, it bears repeating. It's brilliant.
