Single coils are nearly as good as the dual coils. The dual coils have a little extra kick and get warmer a little faster. I personally cannot tell the difference between the two if I mix up which is which. I have heard they really perform at higher volts. The DCC's drain the battery and juice faster too. Flavor: same on both for me. Warmth: both reach the same temp for me, but the DCC reaches it faster.
good to know!
Also, the Singles are slightly easier to take apart because you can remove the stuffing first, where as you have to dismantle a DCC with stuffing in. And you can easily see the coil on the SCC to adjust it without taking it apart (still a bit tricky though.)
that makes sense, I'm guessing peeking down the hole at the coil on a single is just like doing that on a kanger, just a giant version. good thing you told me this, I thought I was supposed to destuff the DCC before trying to dismantle lol. I'm considering replacing the stuffing with some PTB to see if I can improve the draw, but obviously decrease the capacity. So hammer out first with something long, then remove stuffing. got it.
I enjoy the DCC's but the advantages of them are marginal for me on the standard Echo battery and the juice cost and battery life cost makes them not ideal for my all day vape. I use them for my occasional "heavy hitting" vapes.
Oh by the way the DCC's were invented by a Forum member. This echo thread is a very exciting read at times.
wow who was it? very cool.
And yes, as far as we have discussed on the thread the only way to use an adapter on the sealed Echo is to slot it yourself. It would work on an unsealed one though. (hope im helping)
Big help thank you
