Yep....just as cartomizer is a combined word that somebody made up, it's just easier to say echomizer rather than echo cartomizer (or echo cartridge atomizer for that matter :) ) Just like it's easier to type DCC instead of dual coil cartdridge atomizer.

Then again....I remember when we had to check with him because his chargers were different than everyone elses. So you may be on to something Errol (you usually are). But I still like calling them echomizers.

I think Kren bought her starter from him. If we hear from her, it might do us some good to see what type of box it came in.

Other than that, I'm using the 1300mah I bought from him all day today with no problems. And he shipped it very fast.

Got my original two starter kits from Rob at SmokeTek and they came in the same lovely black box with gold lettering that i've seen folks post pix of. Everything fit nicely in the box in individual black boxes (for the cartos, etc). I still have the boxes but I'm at work; can check later.

led and rubberized finish?

But how do we know they are regulated? I made the assumption based on personal observation awhile ago. Did Rob confirm that these versions are regulated?

we can hope, but you may be pushing it, Cyrus. To have a rubberized, automatic, led, regulated battery with a 10 second cutoff? geez....

Do you guys really sit there and worry about the look? LOL. I am sitting here looking at a stainless steel on a chrome batt, a dinky little black 808 (not Echo carto) perched atop a chrome batt, a black on a black batt, and a chrome on a black batt. Mix n' match - whatever - as long as it's a great vape, I don't care!

If I cared about fashion accessories I'd get one of those pink Lavatubes or whatever those things are. Most of the time I'm trying to NOT let people see the damn thing anyway (since I'm either commuting on the bus or in the office for 12 hours a day).

I never reach cutoff on mine unless I'm trying to make it cutoff. It is very hard for me to take a 5 second continous drag. When we first got the echos I posted that they didn't have a cutoff because I took as long a drag as I could and it didn't cutoff but others reported theirs did so after retesting I found out mine did too. That is when I found out how long a five second drag was because it felt like at least 10 seconds to me. I guess most have better lungs than me being as I abused mine for over 50 years of smoking. :2cool:

Question for anyone. I got some Echo 1300 mah batteries from healthcabins last sale. When you shake the unit you can hear the battery inside moving around. Both units do the same thing. Is this normal? Kinda worried that eventually it will wear the battery cover off and cause some damage. Opinions?

None of mine have ever done that and I can't remember anyone else reporting that problem. I don't know of anyone buying any from Healthcabins though so I'm not sure what they are selling. Do you know if they were made by Hangsen?

Those batteries inside are big and bulky and fit the width of the tube. The most that could happen is sliding back and forth and none of my echos do that. There is a light rattle noise from one of them near the led end. Never knew it until now. Won't be shaking them anymore.

Last I knew Health Cabin was selling the echo-e as simply the echo. Is yours the 510 version? This thread is dominated by auto 808 echo users. You may need to be patient if you have the 510 version. Still sounds strange.

No....wasn't saying that. We do have a few echo-e users that pop by. lol. You can stay. I just meant it may take a moment.

I just looked and HC sells the 510 as simply the echo and the call the auto 808 version the Vgo.(probably a different manufacturer)

I can tell you that the battery is designed to use standard resistance and won't fire anything under 2.0ohms. There are some who have found a way around that though.

I was looking at their site and what they are describing as echos are what we call echo-e and are manuals. What looks like the echos we have they call them vgos and have auto batteries like ours. Normally a 808 Vgo has a 808 threaded skirt type connection like an ego.
Is yours a manual with ego 510 connection or 808 auto?

Never mind I'm a slow typer I see it was all answered while I was typing. lol
We like all the input we can get golferx so stick around if you like. It is just an echo-e if you want to order from suppliers here. Several people have them.
