Where do you guys get your Vison/Stardust/CE4/Whatchamacallit clearos to use on your Echos? I really like the cone threaded ones I have, but I want to make sure I order the right kind to fit my 808 Echo this time. I was looking at these from The Vapor Girl. There's no pic of the connector, so I wanted to make sure they were the right ones.

Can the 300 ma charger that is out there for the new batteries charge old with out problems?

And here is a pic of V4L 808 3.5 ml tank on Echo auto 1100ma and 650ma batteries.
The 2ohm and 3 ohm works well with them, but its a no go for the 1.5ohm.

Yes according to the supplier and factory it is ok to use the 300 mah charger with the old batteries.

I just recently found this thread is there a secret hand shake?

Its like stumbling in to the bat cave with all its wonderful toys.;)

With every one top side chasing every type Go imaginable, Its nice to see the 808 getting it due.
I stated with the 808 and stayed with it. From mini right up to the Echo.

I have the 300ma charger from mtnvapor bought separately without a kit, and it charges with no issue, except that it really does not seem any faster than the 150ma stock on the older batteries, the new ones in the kits might be different but this has been my experience.

Hi Charlz.........I received their newsletter and was just investigating what they had in the newsletter. Then I see yet another iteration of the Vision and so I was just curious. While I'm here let me ask you something........I've read about taking apart the clearos we are using with great interest, There is no way in Heaven or Hell that I could re-coil one of them but I would like to give them a good dry burn to get rid of some of the chocolate junk they have accumulated. After they are soaked overnight in vodka would be a good time to do this I think. So if I just remove the outside of the tank and do that is it safe or do I lose the tank forever?

If you aren't going to rewire it, don't remove the shell. Simply put a bent paper clip in there and pry up the silicon rubber part that the base of the mouthpiece sits on. Pry it up and then you can stick the paperclip in the metal tube (what I've dubbed the nipple) and wiggle it up and out. It gets easier with time.

Then you can then dry burn. You can look down in to the coil so you can check your progress but avoid inhaling anything that comes off the coil during a dry burn. )You need a manual battery for a dry burn) When the coil glows red hot and there is no more smoke coming off the coil, the coil and wick are as good as new.

You can slip the silicon sleeve back into the mouth part and push it back into place. Just get it so it is just over the metal tube and use the mouth tip to push it in place when you screw it back on.

Thanks again Charlz.............you are a great source of information. I have a manual 808 that I have used to dry burn other brands of cartos and clearos with so I'm somewhat familiar with the process but always hesitante to dry burn any coil on a new (to me) setup. I'm going to have to buy something manual soon since I've had the manual 808 for almost a year now and it is probably getting pretty tired. Suggestions?
