Exactly! I'm not sure I even want it because I'm happy with dripping, but I'm curious because everyone raves about it.
I hit the button and placed the order, split it in 2 because the mod ships in about 10 years. The kayfun and accessories will be here soon. I'm pretty stoked.
And now I'm done with ordering from FT forever because I have everything I need. ;) Yea right.

I moved into kayfuns after protanks and it was a much welcomed change of flavor and vapor. Since then, I've moved on to dripping and don't even consider looking at a kayfun now.
There is lots of hype because so many folks are moving on like I did from clearos. If you are already dripping or sub ohm, don't waste your money on a kayfun.
But if you don't have a magma, get one!

I totally agree on the magma, I have 6 different drippers, and the magma is the only one being used, but do disagree about the kayfun's, I do love the magma and use it daily, but I also have 3 tanks like a kayfun too, yes I will say the magma gives better flavor and vapor, but dripping can get old, and like tanks where you don't have to have a bottle of juice next to you all the time.

I hear ya, I just can't use my kayfun at my preferred .3 ohms. Not enough airflow and the deck is small for that coil as well as an insulator that would melt.
I've got around 35 attys and only use my 6 magmas. :toast:

The magma looks interesting. I have the Smoktek scar, which does the same airflow channel underneath thing, but the draw on it is extremely tight even for me, and I like a tight draw for long, slow mouth to lung hits. 40 drops?? Wow.
If the kayfun winds up sitting sad and lonely in the corner with my other tanks, at least I'll know for sure. It probably will, but it might be nice for those days when I'm out and about for a long time.

I've got the scar also. As you described and then I drilled it out completely and added a second airhole. Still doesn't match a magma. Even got the maggie from FT but the domed cap in the magma really does something for the vape quality and flavor.
Currently loving the copper ring magma on the copper penny mod.
It's easy to set it up for mouth to lung.
15 drops lasts me about an hour and carrying a flavor or 2 isn't too cumbersome.

Does FT have a minimum? Forgot a couple of things. They just shipped last order yesterday too.

KF Quartz kits. Will they pack those right?

Order as little as you want, but $20 for free shipping. Also small orders might not have a tracking number unless you pay a little extra. I ordered a less than $10 order once (just a couple of drip tips) and paid less than $2 shipping (I think). I just wait until I have $20, or add a couple of small things to get there.

My new favorite combo. The copper ring magma with the copper penny mod. I really like the recessed button with optional lock ring and thick 1 piece tube.

i have the magma, and it can't get a good vape from it... it does best on the fully opened air hole.. but then it's too airy.
smaller air hole destroys flavor... like it is awful tasting.

i liked the kayfuns at first, bought 4 of them...
well i don't use those anymore... something always happens and i need to re wick or re coil and it's a mess to do if you have juice in the tank.

heron clone is on the way and am hoping this is going to solve my issues

Try running it with dual micro coils close to the hole and loose cotton wick. All 6 of mine are awesome in all airflow modes.

Yea, fast (instead of 30 day) shipping is a percentage of $2 depending on how much you spend. So if you spend $15, the shipping upgrade is $0.50, if you spend $5, it's $1.50. Totally worth it IMO.

Mine is "waiting to be packaged" but the kayfun I ordered just went to "ships in 7 days." I'm hoping that means I got the last one in stock. ;) Really don't want to have to go through all of the various kayfuns and pick a different one.

You guys are horrible. Now I'm thinking I need a magma, even though I have 2 new drippers arriving tomorrow. Maybe next month for my vapeversary. I don't know if I'll love it though. I vape on moderately high ohms (around 1.0-1.2) so many drippers aren't really designed for that.

Gah, I hate that. That's one of the main reasons I'm such a big fan of drippers. I recoil them way more often than I need to because I decide I want a different vape, but if I want to, I could just build it and it will work for weeks. No muss, no fuss.

I tried the diver, and it's awesome at first, but I rarely get through a full day without having to take it out of the (usually full) cartotank to futz with it. It's sitting in a corner gathering dust now.

    i have the diver too.
it's ok. i have to put a favorite juice in it though.. in a smaller cartotank.

now the sophia... that's about as good as a dripper, just pop off the bottom and do what ya need to the coil or wick, plus if you keep it closed, it works as a dripper even if you have a full tank of something else.

now if fast tech would just clone those... i'd be set.

I'm running my Magma around 1.4 ohms single coil. No problems. I stuffed a small bit of toothpick in the unused air hole, so there's no leaking either.

Waiting for the mailman to drop off my brass monkey and igo-l later today. I'm super excited. I'll edit this post with initial thoughts in a couple of hours, but I just had to share. I feel like a kid on Christmas! :D

Update: I got it!!! I don't want to get back to shipping this, shipping that, but I do have to mention that I ordered the evening of 8/18 and it arrived 8/25.

$1.49 Stainless Steel 510 Drip Tip - 20mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
The o-ring is was too small, but I replaced it with a normal sized one and now it works with all of my atomizers. Other than that, I think it's a great looking drip tip. Nicely machined and looks expensive.

$5.91 IGO-L Style Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
The top is too small to accept many of my drip tips, but I found a few that work. The airhole wasn't drilled all the way through so I had to fix that. The center post spins freely, and the screws are a bit sticky, so I had to use pliers to hold it in place as I tightened it on my coil.
I don't know how I feel about it. I need to experiment a bit with it. It looks great, and it's nice and tiny. Definitely need to drill out the airhole a tad bit. I'd rather make a small second one on the other side, but I don't have a way of doing that.

$7.45 Brass Monkey Style Rebuildable Atomizer Kit - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Holy monkey, batman. This thing. I saw some complaints on the reviews, but my airflow ring lines up perfectly with the holes and the screws aren't too short. Everything fits nice and snug. It's a little bit heavy, but feels solid. It looks beautiful.
Having two holes in the center post is fantastic. The holes are also nice and big, so threading the wire through was a breeze. By far the easiest build I've ever done.
I seriously can't find any faults. I'm getting a nice, smooth, full vape at 1.2ohm, dual coil. It just seems extremely well made. My new favorite.

The end. Thanks for listening.

The Nemesis on the left looks like you added a kick tube. If so, can you tell where you got it?

Edit : Never mind. My eyes are going. Mistook lock ring for kick tube.

Although, if anyone can tell me how to get a kick in a Nemesis I would be very grateful. :)

best dripper for me I had to order a second one and use them 90% of the time
great flavor great vapor, but I did drill them out a bit ;)

it's in 18500 mod but you could use 18500 mode with a 18350 and a kick, every nemesis except the aluminum ones comes with it I think
