Yes they often ask customers to upload a pic of the front of the credit card for verification AND evidently your pic will remain on their site afterward even if you cancel the order. Too risky for me, I just use PayPal.

I have a big order coming to me (well I spent around $50) The one item holding it up is a battery my brother wanted. Since they take so long to ship I just ordered everything at once.
Ugh, I hate waiting. I ordered a protank and spinner from ebay (hoping they're authentic, the listing said they were) to hold me over so I don't have to worry about the stuff from fast tech coming. The only thing in my order I really want is the acrylic tips. I HATE vaping with a metal tip.

batteries should always be ordered separately. Those will show down the shipping considerably.
I would cancel the battery and put the battery in a second shipment.
It might cause an initial delay of a few days, but that battery could add up to a six month trip for your package.

Been ordering stuff from FT for quite a while now.
For the first time, I've tried to place an order where it won't let me use PayPal.
The full-size erlkonigin clones get blocked (although the mini-clone doesn't; neither was the N22 RDA). Won't let you use PayPal for those.
I really hope this isn't going to be a trend...... Perhaps I should just say "Screw you PayPal" and use my CC directly???

Two workarounds I read on FT forums:
Use paypal to buy a FT gift certificate then use that to buy the item.
Buy something of equal value then cancel which will create a FT gift certificate.
I don't think that Paypal can 'see' what individual items you purchase, they only see the name of the company in general. I think it is more likely an occasional glitch in the Fasttech payment platform. You hear about 'paypal blocks' occasionally. Usually the next time the person goes to use it it works again.
If it's a glich it's at least 3 weeks old. I just check and I still can't buy these aspire coils with paypal

Wouldn't let me use paypal.
Replaced it with a different erlk clone.

Paypal was just fine.
All 3 times the other items were a mini-erlk clone, and an N22 RDA.
The blocking probably came from the FT site itself, but it's clearly item-specific.
I have a problem with co like paypal who are trying to decide what you can or can't buy. The latest I believe are aspire products and no telling what else . I use my cc.
Paypal is the devil. Google "Paypal sucks" for some interesting reading.

Same here. I just go for a gift certificate because God knows I'll spend it within hours.
I love ecf. Went to buy stuff and saw the PayPal was blocked and came here and saw the gift certificate work around and life is good now. Placed my order and it will ship next week. Thanls for the information.

been having mixed result from FT. most of their products are good. however, out of 6 mech mod i ordered, 3 of them had damaged top cap. they were good enough to offer replacements. their attys were spot on, except magma. magma still works well, just that holes on the posts were little off at an angle and hard to thread the coils into them.

I bought an Astro and a Kato box mod from them, both were absolutely perfect. Also got a Magma and Kayfun+ that were flawless but did see a couple of reviews complaining about misaligned post holes on the Magma so guess it's hit or miss with that one. Been heavy using the Astro and Kayfun for over a year and both still look/perform as good as new. So far all of the drip tips, O-rings, clear tank sections and replacement parts I've bought have been perfect. Getting fifty silicone O-rings for less than what a single O-ring would cost me here doesn't hurt my feelings either. Just wish they still carried replacement S.S. post screws. Over the past year I've stockpiled enough gear and replacement parts to carry me (and a few friends), for decades just in case the FDA gets "cantankerous" with regulations. I normally only buy an item after a number of people have posted "positive" reviews because FT often carries multiple offerings of the same item each being from a different manufacturer. I know that sooner or later I'll get stuck with a lemon but so far have been quite pleased with the quality and price. Just ordered the new Fogger V5 (screw version), before it was adequately reviewed so time will tell on that one but for the price it's worth the gamble.

Blocking comes from PayPal. Visa has done the same in the past with legal but unpopular stuff. Allmp3.com was the first time I ran into it. Payment processng is a weak link. TG for bitcoins.
