Maybe cleared, doesn't mean it is moving, mine been sitting in Chicago for days now, this is not normal, so guessing they are backed up, normally moves after 2 days at most.

Thanks Nailz! Interesting! Sure hope your package is liberated tomorrow if not sooner!

Did you see the movie that was out earlier this year called Eye in the Sky? It was about tiny drones disguised as flying insects that are used for intelligence-gathering by our military. Great movie! This makes me wish we could send one of those drones to accompany our FT shipments so we could know everything about the journey and what the heck is making our packages take so long to arrive at their destinations!!

I haven't read the Deeming document, but if anyone has, please tell me if there is verbage in it that says we aren't allowed to import tobacco products from foreign countries after 8/8?
Yes. Anyone importing needs a distributors license. Basically it appears like they want all imported products to go through distribution warehouses like cigarettes do. I'm guessing there will be some mark or stamp added saying the product has been through this, I don't know when that takes effect.

What bugs me is selective enforcement in that somethings are illegal after getting caught. I can forsee some stiff penalties on consumers say, if your pulled over for a traffic violation and have an unapproved device. Remember the OMB economic impact projected about 27 vaping products (including eliqid) would survive at the end of 2 yrs.

I bought the Magic Stick CW 6-in-1 Wire Coiling Tool Kit $7.38 Magic Stick CW 6-in-1 Wire Coiling Tool Kit - 1.5+2+2.5+3+3.5+4mm poles / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping $7.38. I thought they all looked about the same so I just got the cheapest one. The coil jig wraps counter-clockwise which is weird but technically works, but I imagine with some equipment might be an issue. Tweezers and scissors are useless. Itty-bitty screw-head wire-guides are impossible to work with. Bought an atlantis RBA head where the holes dont line up and cant be used. Bought some 22 and 24 gauge wire and both are the same size. Ship time was fine.

I just had my first package "fail security" out of dozens of orders over the years. It was a usps epacket that shipped on 7/8 containing 2 evic vtc's and 2 cloupor minis.

An order I placed well after that was received a week ago. Not sure if it was a fluke or what but I'm kinda bummed. No idea what made it fail security.

Ouch. I've never heard of anything failing security. Can you call customs and ask why? I'd want someone to explain.

The thing that's weird is I was checking tracking regularly. It never showed up in NY on the usps tracker. I actually got a package that I ordered 2 weeks after the returned one a week ago. It didn't contain any mods though. It was all tanks/parts/wire etc. The package that got returned contained only the 4 mods I listed in my OP and no batteries or anything like that. First time this has ever happened to me. I had one package get lost a year or 2 ago. Other than that they always showed up within 3 weeks of ordering.

Here's the email I got this morning:

"We got the feedback from the shipping agency that your package failed to pass the security checking and it will be returned to us.

If you still want this order, do you agree with us to reship it via Hong Kong Post registered airmail which take about 10-20 business days for delivery when the package is back to us?

If you prefer a direct refund, please let us know and we will arrange accordingly, thanks.

And if we didn’t get a reply from you within 24 hours, we will directly issue a refund back to your original payment gateway.

    Kind regards,
    Stella

I got a strange one. Ordered a Pico w/Melo III on the 22nd, shipped right out, tracking showed on 26th, processed through facility 27th, figured it would show up in NY (or somewhere up there) like all my other orders over the years the first of this week. Well my app just notified me it arrived at 2:28 pm in Miami, Florida  I'm not complaining, because that is only about 3 hours away, just never had one go to Miami before.

So you don't know where it failed security. Your pkg may have never made it to the US, is that right? Someone else on FT's forums mentioned one of their shippers had returned their pkg. I hope we're not heading into that mess again.

Wanted to put in a last fast tech order but unsure it will make it. Just extra glass and O-rings. Would you guys bother trying or just go on eBay at this point?
Don't worry about it. FT is pretty good with giving advance notice of policy changes. There's no reason to think that shipping from FT is getting restricted.

Oh CRAP :-x I thought the Black Holes were only up north :-x

Every time I've ordered something that's even remotely near the southeast, for some reason it routes through Miami where it sits and sits and sits and sits before there's even a hint of movement in that god forsaken facility there. If I see something is being routed through Miami, I automatically know it's going to take forever to receive the item. :(

Maybe they only send 1 plane a month to Canada from there
Even though it is only 3 hours away on the east coast, when it does move (which I hope is not a month), it will go past me to Tampa/Sarasota center on the west coast, before it comes back to me in the center of the state, has to go through the distribution centers.
