For any Canadians ordering from FT...

For the love of God, pay the extra few cents for Canada EPacket!!!

My last half dozen EPacket shipments have all consistently arrived i. Toronto within 2 weeks. Regular SingPost and Air shipments are taking up to 6-7 weeks. NEVER less than a month as of late.

The most expensive upcharge I have paid was just under $2 for a fairly big shipment. Most are under $1.

I am now using ePacket on all orders except ones that only contain stuff like screws, replacement glass, o-rings, etc. as they are just for my parts drawer.

@BreSha6869 - Thanks! I signed up for FT newsletters, promotions info., etc., but I never get any from them. I even asked about any promos or sales on the FT coupons, promos board yesterday. No answers at all from the FT guy there yet!

On the ft page click on the 'community' link to the right of where it says hello Sign in or register. A pop up window gets in the way so make sure your mouse goes above that to click. On the page that comes up hit on the promotions link. You will find all the sales info there.

I've bought a lot from fasttech in the last three years and I've always been satisfied with them, but recently it's gone downhill. I ordered a Doogee x5 Max Pro smartphone in the autumn and was sent the wrong one, twice. The second time (received yesterday) it wasn't even the correct brand. While not ok, I can have some understanding for them sending me the wrong phone once. But for them to send me a wrong phone again, after unnecessary lengthy discussions with customer service!? And of course I've already paid customs fees so I'm out of money even with a refund. Almost had to pay customs the second time as FT failed to label the package as warranty exchange, even after repeated prompting. I have lots of stuff in my shopping cart that I was going to buy during the Christmas sale but now I'm doubtful. I've requested a response before Christmas, and if I'm not satisfactorily compensated I think I'm done with fasttech. And I'll be damn sure to spread the word. The way the company has acted recently is inexcusable.

What's the preferred shipping method from Fasttech these day? Only ordered one time a few month ago using USPS. Took about two weeks, which if fine with me if its still that good.

I recently switched from free airmail to ePacket and I am amazed at the difference.

My last SingPost order was placed on Nov 1, shipped Nov 12 and arrived TODAY. Crazy! I am averaging 5-7 weeks.

My ePacket orders are averaging 2 weeks to Canada and generally cost a buck or so more. Excellent delivery times and regularity IME.

No more "air" mail for me!

Of course. It is brutal. Easy to forget and process an order without changing shipping method though.

I have tried most if not all of the "free" shipping methods and they average about 4-5 weeks.
