Yes, I got that, but what items can't you pay for with PP? I've never encountered that before. Drugs? Guns? Porn?

I had to use a GC to buy some Aspire coils.

There is this little blurb in the description portion of items that has that 'special' designation on the right hand side about half way down the page

  • This item can only be purchased via Bitcoin (XBT) or gift certificates (store credits).
  • Bitcoin is secure and popular. First time using Bitcoin? Click here to get started within minutes.

Well, I'm finally getting my last items, which I had basically given up on. Singapore Post held on to a couple of items (different packages) for 17 days, for unknown reasons (I thought they were sending them back to FT, though they weren't interior battery or e liquid) before finally shipping them out. Actual shipping then took another two weeks. I received 3 days after they arrived in the country. Altogether, 36 & 40 days, respectively from the time I ordered to receive them. At least using 17track, I can now see where the hold-ups are, and they aren't Greece (which is what I had been suspecting, bc we probably don't have enough customs and postal staff due to cuts, etc.). Also not fasttech. * Glares at Singapore Post *

These are the ones I was worried about beating the TPD deadline for, which they did not, but at least they've been delivered anyway. Two more to come, but they have arrived in the country.

New shipping record from FT for me....

8 business days. Arrived yesterday morning and shipped two Fridays ago.

I used to complain and whine about FT's 4-6 week "airmail" lead times to Canada, but ePacket is CONSISTANTLY 2 weeks or less and I have yet to pay over $2 on dozens of orders for this shipping upgrade.

Fingers crossed it continues!

ePacket must be just for N America; doesn't come up as an option for me. I just ordered some CLR coil heads and a mini tab, and chose something called NLpost (Netherlands, I think) for a little extra. Maybe that will solve my Singapore Post issues.

Singapore Post is the worst option they have. Any other choice is better. Have a read in the FT community Forums and Reviews for Gadgets: FastTech

Someone will have the best options for you.

It's odd, I never really "chose" SP, they put up a free shipping by "registered airmail" option automatically chosen when I go to pay. To change I need to go to the drop down options to select a different one, and that also includes one that's "registered airmail by Singapore Post" as though that's different -- but the autochosen option is always coming from SP. Weird. I never thought about it much until I've had so much trouble for the last ... 9 months or so, I guess. I always thought they were just choosing what was most reliable for my location.

The other day I had a replacement glass arrive shattered. I took a pic with my phone and emailed customer service (I can't figure out how to upload a pic from my phone to the website). They keep saying there's no picture attached even though I've sent it multiple times. Has anyone else had this issue via contacting them through email?

I go to the picture, tell it to share the picture, pic gmail, then send it to my gmail acct. I open it on my computer, resize, and attach to whatever I'm sending (or upload it to share here on ECF).

make it your FT profile icon pic. (I don't know if I'm joking or not)

You have to upload to their site via where they show the attach file button in the 'ticket' form you are filling out on FT. So that means it has to reside on a device as a file. Don't think you can just do it direct from your phone.

Out of the many, many FT orders I've made I always had the epacket option. This time I ordered battery wraps and the insulators. I had no epacket option assuming the battery was in the description so I ended up with Singapore post and gezzzz I paid 59 cents for a useless tracking number that CP doesn't track international parcels and 17Track tells me error. Its been 35 days now and I have no idea where my package is or even if its in the country or on the bottom of the ocean. Healthcabin's dealers choice free shipping was epacket and under 2 weeks to hit my mailbox. GearBest was NL post and that was just over 3 weeks and that was just some Merlin glass but its tracking worked enough to tell me that it passed customs and accepted by CP.

You would have been better with regular airmail.
