I try to combine at least a little good news with the bad. For example, my most recently shipped order made it through US customs 2 days ago and I'll likely have it very soon. 10 days so far, not bad at all. Shipped epacket via China post.

A few cables and adapters, I already have the car USB power plug and forgot the extra charging cables.

One for the phone (micro), one for the camera and smok Groove (mini):
$1.66 Micro-USB Male to USB Male Coiled Cable (100cm) - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$1.66 Mini-USB Male to USB Male Coiled Cable (70cm) - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I wanted at least one of these but couldn't decide which was better. I got both:
$1.22 Micro USB to Mini USB F-M Adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$1.10 U2-071 Micro USB Female to Mini USB Male Converter Adapter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I'm exited about this one, but there are so many to choose from and not enough good reviews on any of them:
$7.99 Universal 2A AC Power Adapter 4-Port USB Travel Charger (US Plug) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I hope it works out, cutting down on cable clutter is a never ending battle.

It's a little late to order this, but I'll have it ready for next year:
$2.55 Outdoor Sports Short Plush Fabric Mask at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

3 more pairs of these, I plan on leaving them around everywhere:
$0.85 Mini Stainless Steel Screwdriver Keychain (2-Pack) 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The bad news... I'm still waiting for the order I placed on Christmas. I've already posted that enough times, I won't do it again. Apologies.

Just thought I'd give a very quick and probably very lacking comparison of the FT Kraken and the genuine article.

First off, it's not truuuly as 1:1 as some may say. Not far, but not an exact replica. Then there's quality. Where the FT one lacks in quality is the screw hole threading. Mine had a lot of burrs in them and took a little de-burring. Also one screw on one of the clones (got two) sits very loosely. Not manufactured to extreme fine tolerances, lol. But what can one expect for ~$15...

1:1? Close, but no e-cigar. The finish is different. My genuine one is satin-ish, while the FT ones are polished. One (other) small difference that actually does make a difference in functionality, tho, is the size of the fill hole. The genuine one has a tiny fill hole, while the clone has another wick-hole sized hole as a fill hole. This does actually make a difference. The smaller hole really helps prevent/avoid leaking if left on its side. I think that's one of the neatest features of the genuine Kraken. YMMW with liquid viscosity.

This is just a FIY kind of post. Both clone and original vape great and are among the easier to set up gennies I've used.

... and do remember to really thoroughly clean out the clone. Mine was quite oily.

Thanks, crxess, schnarph & burnie for the responses, I looked at the coil diameter after asking about -
$2.28 Pre-made Wires and Wicks for Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 33 AWG / 1.8ohm / 4-wick at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and guessed they must be 4x1mm.
Not into coiling just yet and had fitted one of these into TaifunGT with 2x tails of 2mm silica in the slots, not covering the coil and
got flood city, causing me to run round in circles questioning everything including my sanity.
Figured it out finally that the drop-down sleeve had twisted on re-assembly and the wicks had disappeared into the chamber - vaping like a champ now.
Saw the comment earlier about shipping/moans and have to say that in 5orders I have been happy with
everything that I have received from FT - 5x authentic PT2's, 5xPT2-style, MVP2, juices (thanks again crxess, I would never have ticked the box on Juicy Peach ! ) and 2xTaifunGT's, the chromed brass deck on the 1st was replaced with only a delay
when everybody was after them. Average delvy time to France around 3weeks, SG and HK post.

hope for 2 weeks
To think that SGP, used to take 2 weeks since ordering to reach my hands

I've been extremely happy with the $20 Aqua since I've received it. I haven't bothered to use anything else really since I got it (over a month ago).

First time setting it up was a bit of a challenge. Now, it's done in less than 5 minutes.

Glad you like it, i can't bring myself to use mine. The ease of use of the kayfuns (particularly the 3.1) has spoiled me :p

Hi everyone!!!!!

Been a while since I've been here (Haven't ordered anything, wanted to get past Chinese New year),,,,,

I have some questions,,,,,,

I have been using and loving the Iclear 30,,,,,,the first box of replacement heads were perfect,,,,,,

the second and third boxes SUCKED,,,,,,it seems like no matter what I do, they taste burnt. I can go as low as 3.4 volts, and they are STILL tasting burnt,,,,,I've dry burned, rinsed, pushed wires together, snipped off a tiny fragment of the plastic inside cone (to allow more juice to get to the coil) and pulled out wicks,,,,,,,,

some of them work for a while,,,,,,,,but they still taste burnt,,,,,,,or they flood. go figure.

I've absolutely HAD IT,,,,,,,,

I've gotten to the point I am seriously considering rebuilding my own,,,,,,

I've kind of poked around, looking for something easy to start with,,,,,,I read that a Kayfun clone is relatively easy for those just starting to rebuild,,,,,

what are your opinions on this??

$15.52 Kayfun v3.1 ES Styled Rebuildable Atomizer Kit (4.5mL) - chromed brass version at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

does anyone know how many ml it holds? I'd like it to hold at least 3 if possible (it's not a deal breaker) since I vape so much,,,,,

I know I'll need a meter,,,,,,,does FT have a decent one???

any help or opinions you can give is appreciated!

thanks!!!

how hard are these things, really?

I mean, I'm a college graduate,,,I figure I HAVE to figure it out eventually,,,,,

if I have a meter, and an idea of where to go, it can't be too bad,,,,I'm not planning to sub ohm or anything,,,,,

I like right about 2.4 ohms,,,,,,I can build that, can't I???

If you can wrap a coil you can set up a kayfun, watch some vids, ask for advice if unsure.

These days for people I'm helping switch I'm reccomending kayfuns and the taifun GS,I build the coil and they just have to dry burn and rewick while they build the confidence and knowledge to do it themselves. It's worked really well so far and they don't have to go through the clearo stage.

One thing to try on burnt tasting coils is to let them soak in white vinegar for a day. Works for me. YMMV.
