Well .. I knew it would happen sooner or later but one of my fasttech packages got lost in the mail. It was supposedly shipped over 2 months ago. In the meantime, another order that was shipped in March did arrive.

Well . .fasttech refuses to take responsibility. My emails to support are just met with "don't worry, it's on it's way". I emailed them about a month ago, and then 2 weeks ago . .and then finally got the same response again today.

So what happens if your package from China gets lost or doesn't arrive? You're screwed! Take that into consideration when ordering from fasttech. I know I won't be bothering anymore.

16. What happens if my package is lost?
How far did the package track, if at all?
Call your local post office and give them your tracking number and they should be able to tell you more. Here are some of the common phones numbers:

Canada (Canada Post): 1-888-550-6333
United States (USPS): 1-800-ASK-USPS (800-275-8777)
United Kingdom (Parcelforce): 08448 00 44 66

If all other means fail - quote them back their own policy

After 30 days have passed, FastTech can immediately make official inquiries against your local postal system. If packages are confirmed lost, we send free replacements immediately.

Note - Local courier MUST confirm as Lost(not missing/misplaced/miss-ship redirected)

Yeah . .what I'm saying is that's all a lie. If you have time to fight a company in china over a few bucks, I'll let you keep whatever you can recover in my case . . .I don't have time and will not bother with Fasttech anymore.

also . .I did not get a tracking number with my shipment . .so there's nothing I can even do on that end.

What happens is quite like what happens if USPS mess up a shipment. "You didn't pay extra for insurance? Sorry to tell you we couldn't care less".

Sucks about your package tho. Fingers crossed for it showing up one day :)

Maybe technically . . but the only time that's ever happened to me in the past it was some dvds from Amazon and Amazon resent them. I don't know . .if you start ordering things on-line and not receiving them that sort of makes it difficult to continue ordering on-line. Maybe it got lost/stolen .. maybe it was never sent . .how do I know? In this case I never got a tracking number so I literally have nothing to go on except Fasttechs word that they shipped it . .and I know Fasttech could never make a mistake, right?

If you feel ok that maybe your order arrives and maybe it doesn't . .then by all means, don't let me persuade you. I just had no idea that's how they would respond so I'm alerting others who may also not realize.

I order more stuff online than most people, I think. From all over the world. The only time I ever had a package go missing was during Fasttechs dreaded October 2013. Waited well over 2 months before I did anything about it. My first inquiry was whether or not they knew anything of its whereabouts. The reply was "Since it's been over two months, we have fully refunded your order". Didn't even ask for a refund. Just wondered what's up. One happy customer, even tho I never got my package.

Well I'm at 7 weeks but they didn't say anything about refund after 2 months. If they do that or if my order ever does arrive I'll update this thread.

Yea,................Think I'm done with this one.
No Tracking is either minimal order(under $15) and tracking not purchased($1), or purchase not completed.
12. What does "tracking number not purchased" mean?
Live online tracking is only available to airmail (ordering $15 or more), USPS (all orders), and Speedpost Global Express (all orders).

If you wish to not do business with a company for Not being able to support you on Assumption that you are being Honest(NO TRACKING) so be it. Lame, but your decision.
To bad mouth a company for following Good business practice is a bit simple.

Would you like to post a Pic of your Order to confirm the issue?

If it's over 2 months (8 weeks) FT will refund your purchase. Without any hassles whatsoever. It happened to me once too, during the great big October snaffle and FT refunded me immediately. The package did eventually arrive in January, so I refunded FT back.

They do make it right. It's just that international postal regulations stipulate 2 months before an official loss report can be lodged.

That's ridiculous! All I did was go on the site, order a product and pay for it. They said free shipping so I chose free shipping. At the time of purchase I didn't know anything about tracking number yes or no . . .and the website certainly does not say "warning, you may not receive this item if you choose free shipping" . .or "Items that cost less than $5 dollars will not be received".

Why do you want a pic of my order? Do you think I'm making it up just to make fasttech look bad? Or is it ok for a vendor to take payment but not deliver as long as the dollar amount is under a certain amount?

They operate with different rules. I personally think that with their prices it is silly to place a tiny order. Just because they claim free shipping is no reason for taking advantage of that by placing tiny orders: the prices are low enough, why not just fill it up to the minimum for better handling?

Or for bigger losses . . .if they tell you to screw off over 2 bucks . .what will they do with a bigger order?

Bosco, I realize that you have no experience with Fast Tech, so you have to take our word for it that they will make it right once 8 weeks have elapsed. As I have said, international postal regulations require 8 weeks to have gone by before a loss report can be filed. That is the way postal services all over the world operate.

It is also quite true that if an order is less than $20, you do not automatically receive tracking. On orders of less than $20, you are given the option when you check out to upgrade to tracking for a few cents (usually less than $1). It is not a good idea to skip the tracking, seriously. You think you are saving money, but in fact you are creating a situation where you do not at any point know where your package is, which leads to the very fuss you are in right now.

Remember too that once a package has gone off on its travels, FT is not responsible for it. They will make it right, but they are not responsible. There is a pretty big difference there.

They lost money on your order completely. The credit card company charged them. I know domestically it is $3. I don't know what the charge is for international credit transfers. Then to ship the package internationally cost them. They are following their rules. Which are completely reasonable. If you see all the people including me who have had trouble with orders, got them all corrected. Followed their rules. And it's people like you who order a couple dollars worth of stuff and get free shipping that cost us who make real orders. If you didn't do that, other products might start to come down in price because they aren't having to recoup some of the lost money on shipping and credit charges.

I do have experience with Fasttech. This is my fifth order - no problems with the other 4. So far, nobody at Fasttech has said anything about 8 weeks . .but if they do I will definitely update this thread.

How am I costing you anything? All I did was go onto their website, place my order and when it asked the method of shipping, I chose "free shipping". If they don't make money on it, they shouldn't offer it. If they do it and lose money and have to raise prices - shouldn't you blame Fasttech for being stupid? Lots of places require a minimum order amount to get free shipping or to use a credit card, etc. I used paypal .. but the point is the same.

I don't really understand why some people seem to take it so personally if you complain about a company they happen to like. If you like it - great. If you think my gripe is unfounded - that's perfectly fine. I'm just putting the info out there for those that might be interested. I'm not, you know, planning on raising an army and marching on China.

Even with chinese holiday, last order received in 6 days :D

DByhX8w.png

Was just different colored RGM2 Bottom Coil Clearomizer's and coils for the wife though.

That is amazing. My orders always sit in customs for 3-5 days in Chicago or New York. Chicago does seem to be a day or so faster on average. It takes about 7 days minimum transit from China to US customs.
