There's so many configurations anymore I'm not sure what's what's but the chimney in that cap kit looks like the chimney I got with my nano kit.

I was referring to the latest addition KFL+ that comes with the nano kit, but also includes a shorter top cap (doesn't have that thing in the center sticking out). I like the look of those much better. That thing in the middle of the top cap is so unnecessary, I don't get why it's even there.. it's certainly not aesthetically pleasing IMO.

Yep, it's a law of nature: you find the perfect thing, think you can finally stop buying stuff, and then all these neat accessories show up!

I now have PMMA kits (2), a set of 7 replacement small PMMA tanks in all sorts of colours, a nano kit, a custom top kit...although my kayfun gang are absolutely fine the way they are. The same thing is happening to the GT.

Does the madness ever let up?

It just means you lucked onto a good product. If I wanted to, I could spend all my money on ProVari and kayfun accessories and still only scratch the surface of what's out there for those two things.

...and don't get me started on the Nemesis varieties.

Part of me's thinking "ooh, pretty" (I'm a girl that likes her bling). The other part's thinking "..., FastTech, Hello Kitty next?"

I would prefer they do a more traditional pink, purple, etc. The rainbow reminds me too much of people wanting to torch their devices

I've only ordered a couple of things from FastTech, but have been very pleased so far. The items were good quality and the shipping times have been reasonable. However, I do pay the extra money for improved shipping. It's the option that is one step better than the basic shipping and it amounts to less than 2 dollars. The first item I ordered was a replacement tank for my Kayfun 3.1 (about 1$) and it took 12 days to get here (Tennessee). The second thing I ordered was a Kraken clone. The price was $12 and I received it in 11 days. The Kraken is very well made and the only flaw I've found is the Vicious Ant logo on the underside of the base. I'm very happy with it. So far, I have nothing but good things to say about Fasttech. I hope it stays that way.

Those kind of bottles have a soft spot on one of the sides. You just have to look for it. That is where you squeeze. Hope that helps.

Edit: Soft might be a bit of a misnomer. "Flexible" might be a better word to use.

There's no soft spot. You can weaken them and put a crinkle in it if you squeeze hard enough. Then that's the spot you use from now on.

Did the Kraken have a threaded plug for the second wick? Do you have a link to the one you ordered (there is two of them on FT).

My HCigar Kraken was moddable to get to work right for me. If one of the ones on FT for sure has the threaded plug I'd consider getting another.

Years ago, I ordered 10ml bottles from Mad Vapes. The picture on the item showed the soft bottles; but, they shipped the hard bottles. I called them about it. They said that they send whichever they happen to have in stock at the time. So, no return. I had to throw them away.

I didn't order from them for quite a while. I do now, but rarely. I consider that dishonest. I had ordered more from Mad Vapes than from any other vendor, by far. It would have cost them so little to do the honorable thing.

Thought maybe the custom top cap kit might be close enough for you since it combines the cap and top ring into one. Plus there's nothing sticking out the middle of the cap. As I said, maybe I'm still confused...
