well I received my ptfe/teflon driptips today (https://www.fasttech.com/products/2173503) these are my first teflon driptips and from what I can tell, compared to the POM/Delrin ones I ordered (https://www.fasttech.com/p/1960405) the teflon ones have a SLIGHTLY different smoother/slicker feel, and are just a more vibrant white, the pom/delrin ones are slightly transparent.

These are my first PTFE/Teflon driptips, is this how they are supposed to be? I was expecting something like foamy/softer material and a more velvety feel from what I've read on other threads about teflon drip tips. They kinda feel the same to be honest. Just SLIGHTLY different. Then again I have no other teflon driptips to compare it to.

well I just ordered 140$ worth of stuff from fasttech. Was contemplating just ordering an 'authentic' rem creations mod (smplv2 etc) but when I was messing around with fasttech and seeing how much I could get for the same cost, 140$ goes a loooongggg way there.

50 drip tip O-rings
15 20ml PET dropper bottles
20 Short dropper bottle tips
20 PTFE/Teflon drip tips
1 Nitecore D2 2 slot digital battery charger
5 Battery Case 2x18650
5 Rogue Style RDA Stainless Steel
3 SMPL Style 18650 Mech Mod 1:1 SS

and the wait begins...

fasttech is the best ever site period

I think I agree with you. I have placed 4 or 5 orders with Fast Tech and never had a problem. My latest order was for a Z Max and it came in about a week. I was surprised. I don't mind waiting a while, considering the low prices they have.

Nice! :thumb:

On the SMPL, the QC is a little spotty, so the switches may need a little smoothing out on the inside (mine actually made the "crunch" sound). Also, it's not carved out of a solid hunk of metal like the OG - the top cap is press-fit on top - so if you're as rough on it as I am (lose it in bed, find it by kneeling on it  ), that top cap will pop off. No big deal, just hammer it back in and try not to overtighten the fire button, but pops off a little easier after the first time. Love it though - one of my daily carries. And you got 3 for the price of like a third of one! The one thing to check when you first get them is the 510 threading. That's a lot harder to fix if it's bad, so probably easier to just swap it out if it is.

My latest package from them did the same.Never even got scanned at customs, didn't show any scans until it got to my local po.I got it in about a week and a half, fastest i've gotten one from them yet.
Still haven't gotten it. Still sitting in the same place according to the tracking. I contacted them and got a reply that this was fairly normal (even though it didn't happen with my last order). They asked if I could wait a few days and check again. If it still hadn't changed they would contact someone to find out what was going on. I figure I'll give it until Friday and if it still hasn't changed I'll contact them again.

i looked up a few of the smpl on fasttech and seen this discussion on the 1:1 clone stainless one. Looks like some people have gotten seams, and some actually have gotten seamless one which arent press fit top i think. But they do say that the button is crunchy. Which sku# did you order? the 1:1 one?, i ordered the one with the highest rating on it and listed as 1:1

I heard the ones that come in the black box (like the ones you got) are among the better ones. I've had mine for awhile - it was one of the first clones that came out, with "made in the USA" and the plastic tube packaging - not as good as the ones you got. Dunno about the "seamless:" a lot of people say theirs is one piece, but I just can't imagine any cloner milling these things out of a solid hunk of metal for that price, like the OG - I think some are just better disguised than others. But it's on there good. Just don't kneel on it in bed and break it in half, like I did. The crunchiness totally goes away after a little TLC on the switch. It's awesome after that.

 break a metal tube in half by kneeling on it? damn calm down there

I'm a Fasttech newb. I'm sorry that I am unable to read all 422 pages before posting. :)

Are their shipment estimates usually accurate - or fiction? I placed an order on 3/30 that has a shipment day estimate of 4/2 - today.
How likely is it to ship today or soon, or can I sit waiting weeks before the actual shipment goes out? Thanks.

It depends on if what you ordered is in stock. Go to your order and on the right top ht the support button. That will tell you where each item is in the process. If they are all waiting to be packaged your order should ship the next day. A couple of days later it will show up on tracking as accepted by origin post. Two weeks or less in your case as US Customs is in Jamaica, NY. so just a skip to Hudson Valley. Maybe 10 days.

If even one item in your order has an in stock by date your doomed to wait until it shows up. Those dates are BS. They're just estimates from the supplier. If you don't want to wait just cancel that item for an immediate gift certificate or ask for the longer refund. The rest of your order should ship right away.

Welcome to the thread.

It depends on the other items in your cart. I've had one sold out item hold up an entire cart otherwise ready to ship. If that's the case, you can open a ticket and ask them to split the shipment. I've learned to start grouping my orders by ship times. If you stagger your FT orders, it's also nice because getting several packages over time is cool. Makes the wait more bearable.
