My order came today!! I'm a very happy camper! Thanks to all of you who shared your experiences with fast tech!

I placed the order on July 15. It was shipped on July 27 and arrived in Chicago on 7/31. It was transferred to the USPS on August 2 and was delivered to me in Dallas today!

Does seem things moving fast all of a sudden, not sure if down to the new regs starting, but I like it, this is one of that fastest orders I've had in over 3 years ordering from FT

This is the first time i've had that issue through Chicago. All my previous orders, once they said processed through Isc,would get scanned at the sort facility within a few hours, then be in my mailbox 2 days later. But yeah,i am definitely thinking it's a major back up there right now with everyone trying to get last minute packages through.

On another note,i really think i may start using Dhl for any future packages from China, the extra cost seems to be well worth it.I have a package coming from a different Chinese supplier and it shipped Dhl.Shipped at 11:30 pm Hong Kong time on friday night, was released by customs in Cincinnati 6pm on saturday, and scheduled for delivery Tuesday, now that's fast haha.

I must agree with the DHL option because I had 2 orders shipped via DHL from China that were 3 days or less to my door.
Yeah,i had never chose Dhl before because of the added cost, but in this case,it was only $10 more than the epacket, and with not knowing exactly what is going to happen here soon,i decided that extra $10 was worth it.Now though,i really think i may use it all the time,i like that speedy service haha.
Also,i just realized, their tracking says scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, but since it is in Cincinnati, that is just under 100 miles from me,so i may possibly get it tomorrow, which would make it even better.

Ok,panic avoided haha.My ft package that i just mentioned wasn't moving,is pretty much right on schedule with all the others. It was never scanned at the sort facility or post office in Chicago after leaving customs, but it was just scanned a few minutes ago at my local sort facilty,so will be in my hands tomorrow.

That is the same thing that happened to me! No scan on the package leaving the facility and no update on that it was in transit. Seems like the person in the depot is slacking on their duties.
That's typical for me. Pkgs are usually delivered before tracking is updated.

That's not going into effect immediately. I don't know when it will but I'm sure there will be posts about it. Deeming regulations go into effect in stages. Manufacturers have till December to start registering. Eliquids are starting 8/8 and shipping regs requiring pos id, signature on delivery which will increase domestic shipping costs. I got this from the timeline on Not Blowing Smoke website. They also have a fb page with a lot of vendors asking questions.

Do check out CASAA's website. They have links to the documents including the OMD report put out about a year ago. They are a great source for information and if you haven't sent emails to your congresspersons yet, some easy links to do that as well. It takes less than 5 min.

Very good to know. Thank you. I joined CASAA, I've written to my congressman & signed some petitions. I sure hope everyone's combined efforts will be successful and all of this stocking up will be in vain. No matter what, I feel I am in a better place because I've taken the time to learn and to get involved.
