Tried button tops, flat tops, playing with the spring nothing stops this from always firing.

Crap. I've got one in the mailbox. Have you tried a Vapesafe or Shortstop?

They don't carry them yet. Lots of people have been asking for them. I'm waiting for the iClear 16 ones myself.

Oh lawd look at this...and the price!
I need to load some more cash on my card
There goes my budget $12.71 Private V2 Telescoping Mech Mod E-Cigarette Battery Compartment at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I ordered it 12 hours ago! I kept eyeing it from a US vendor pre-order. I can't believe the price! No way I could pass it up.

Thanks for the pics of the red K100. That's the red I was hoping for....mine must've been the first batch. This is how it looks along with the K101. You can see how it matches the orange chicken on the tube. The K101 is closer to what I need but is still more brown. Looks like I'll be ordering another red one once I get all the other colors in my wish list.

Very happy with my X6. It's the perfect diameter for a Protank.

$14.64 X6 1300mAh Variable Voltage Rechargeable Battery for Electronic Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The thing is built like a tank, I can't see any point of weakness on it.

I'm liking my X6 too. Just got it. My favorite thing about it is that my evods and ce4s screw down into it, so there's no easy place for it to "buckle" if knocked.

This my first changeable voltage battery. Quite honestly, I don't see much difference in juice taste, except for one fruit flavor that didn't like it hot and tasted burnt. Of course, this may be because the only atomizers I've used with it are in the 2.4ohm range.

When tightened to much a Bottom Button telescoping device can become stuck in the on position. You may be able to remove the tiny screw to access the rest of the switch and correct it. Have done the same thing on another brand mod.

so what happens if I cancel an item from my order before it ships? Do they give you a credit or something? im waiting on a vamo and an SVD but i have an iclear 16 and a tank that are holding up shipment til the 7th,the other items are ready to ship.

I've done this once, they give a coupon code for a credit for the amount of the items. No questions asked, no hard times. If you ask, they will give a paypal refund.

The bottom doesn't come off and it doesn't seem to have a lock on it. The bottom is flat making it hard to press the button but keeps it from firing when standing up.

Mine is working. Really no comfortable way to press the button though. The circle is so small and you have to press it up inside the compartment. Do you have the battery with the button top pointed up to the spring? First one I've seen with the spring on the top. Looks like the battery should go in upside down. I won't be buying this one in any other colors. Outside edges are kind of rough, too.

I was going to snag that one until I noticed that the spring was on the atomizer end which was just weird to me so I asked the Vets about it http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ask-veterans/447396-mod-spring-question.html

i had previously ordered ce4's from them, but i did not know they didn't come apart for cleaning. they are basically disposable at that price i guess. i found that if they are not rebuildable, they dont come apart. i ordered more today, but read better this time..they are rebuildable, so i can take them apart for cleaning, and got more atomizers for them....but at that price, it makes them disposable if you dont want to switch out heads....lesson learned.

shorter drag @ higher voltage. Try 4v and about 3 second inhale. Adjust up or down depending on taste. I'm running a 2ohm at 4.1v

Be careful then. The one I have, the coupler is not real solid. I noticed it when I first put on a clearo... a CE4 and it looked crooked. Mild pressure and it moves around. It's not a very solid unit overall. I wouldn't put anything heavy on it, if you dropped it or it fell over, it might do it in. I like the battery, real simple and lasts quite a long time, just sorta cheesy build quality.

I'll try it. On my next order I was planning to get some 2 ohm(if they've got 'em) or 1.8 heads along with some more Evods. I'm liking the evod longevity and performance. I'm also liking the vivi nova and mini I got on my last order... much better that the CE4s I started with.

Mine is the opposite, it's is solid as a rock, won't budge with strong pressure.

For those keeping track, my FastTech order got to me in 8 days. I am impressed; I was expecting it to be closer to 2 weeks...

The order was for an SVD, M4 (Genesis clone) dripper, Trustfire charger (TR-001) and some odds and ends. I am really liking the SVD. (I got my battereis from Mad Vapes because FT doesn't carry IMR batteries...)

I have 2 more packages on the way (one is the Smok E-pipe copy) that are now in San Francisco 3 days after shipping, so now it's the USPS waiting game.

I got my MIC ithaka today. Didnt hit so good so i took it apart and the problem was that whoever decided to build the coils used only half of the resistance wire wrapping the wick and the other half leading down along the wick channels then you can clearly see the non resistance where the resistance wire ends. It read 1.7 ohms. Cranked it up to 5V still nada but after the tear down its clear why. The draw is a little tight for me since I have been dripping for the last month. I have high hopes if not then its back to FT
