The range is okeedokee with me..lately I have been vaping at around 8.0w so 3.7 - 4.2 volts with a 2.0 - 2.5 ohm carto is good....I don't mind the design. I like it because it is green :D
Its tough to find an emerald/kelly green mod....most of them are some odd lime colour :p
For 14.00 I will def check it out :thumb:

Have you thought about a wrap for your mods to make them green?

Oh yes! I've seen some really pretty ones...holographic/prismatic and all.
I just like the form factor of this one as well as the colour.
Plus I have only three mods and they are all covered in wraps..one black carbon fiber (-like) one red CF and my Vamo is covered in a silver holographic :)

I am just spoiled by the VV/VW mods..they have all of the protection built in.
I'm getting a K100 and it will be my first mech..the unregulated world is a whole new ball of vape for me, lol

Since your not really pushing your batts and not using rebuildables which have a higher chance of shorting, using an IMR with that X7 falls under what most would consider to be safe vaping. For a mech like the K100, using a fuse with an IMR is a good idea. I don't use a fuse, but would never talk someone out of one.

Of course, it's up to you what precautions to take, since it's your safety to look at. Keep reading up on it! Some people jump into mechs using any old battery with a sub-ohm coil that they don't measure. THAT's how to learn about safety the BAD way.

I haven't yet, but am thinking of getting a wood wrap for my SVD.

No sub ohm stuff for me, lol
I know my limits...and that's one of 'em, lol
I will be getting an IGO L and I have an RSST but will only use those on my Vamo, VariMax or SigZmaxTele until I get proficient enough with making consistent coils.
I am not quite there yet :)

Smart plan! If you have a short or build too low or battery gets too low, the VAMO just won't fire it. The mechs without a fuse don't care what's going on, it'll apply power to whatever mess is going on as long as it completes the circuit. Mechs can be used fairly safely, as long as the users common-sense and brain safety protection is working.

Only one thing i dont like about this Mod,when i have in 18350 mode,it air tight, the vent holes on the inner tube get covered,i may drill some holes in the outer tubes,no biggie.

Got this in the mail today. Works separately, but not together. Really weird! I guess I'll be sending this one back.

It's probably the center pin on the EVOD head, sometimes they're in too far... I've been able to carefully work them back out with a needle nose until it can make contact again.

As Heavy said, you need to raise the centre pin slightly, just waggle the flat disc in the centre of the 510 thread with a tootpick so it raises by about a millimetre. I just did that on my twist after my Kanger Protank stopped working on it whilst my X9 Protank still worked. Now both work fine.

Im no knife expert, but it feels rock solid and it its a genuine Gerber blade,i think Gerber gets them made over in China ,like everything, its all made in China.BTW,the Mod is totally amazing, feels excellent in the hand, works perfect right otta the box,no need for ''modding''.
