I was looking at the Vamo V3. Do you know what changes they made to it over the Vamo V2? Can you lock the settings now by any chance so that you don't accidentally change them?

Now I'm starting to have second thoughts about ordering the V2 and not the V3...my rationalization was...uhhh...I don't even remember anymore. I wish this thing would just get here already, it's my first variable so I'm excited and anxious!

You haven't been around here very long, but most of us take taste as subjective and have a little better attitude toward each other then you do. But to each his own right? If you choose to believe something is garbage without trying it then I'm better off ignoring ignorance.

They have about 20 different versions of vivi nova's. I am sure some of them work great and some of them are junk. We may need to start a list. Which ones did you get?

That's not the first time he's made a comment about it either. The first time he ASSumed all China juice had a certain chemical in them, he was then provided info that that particular brand didn't have what he ASSumed it had. Take whatever he says with a grain of salt.

the difference is v3 has oled display cosmetic changes(swirls) imo they look ugly,removable top cap around the connection this is a nice feature
in v2 there is a battery tube extension to use 18650 in v3 they have separate tube for 18650 and 18350.
i think it has the same electronics so no locking feature.
if any one has a v3 in hand they can conform whether it has locking feature or not.

I am not totally sure about that. My "Authentic Vivi Nova" with the vision logo on the box is defiantly a knockoff. It is a quality made piece that is not leaking but the heads that came with it are beyond crappy. I also had to sand down the positive pin to get it to screw into my battery's. It is working well after a rebuild on the heads and no leaks, I also knew it was a knockoff going in by looking at the pics of the heads. No where does it say that that is a Vision Vivi Nova on that box. This is exactly what I meant with watching for knock offs. Vivi Nova is a style. It is indeed and authentic vivi nova style but it does not proclaim to be a Vison product. That is exactly the stuff you have to watch for.

The mini is only about 1.8ml, if you want something Vivi Nova sized that's not the one.

The blue looked a bit girly in the photos, that's why I was asking what it looked like in real life. Is it as pastel shaded as it looks in the photos or more metallic looking.

Looks to me as though when our packages go through Burlingame that they'll be stuck on "Processed" while in transit instead of "Departed" like S.F.

There's still some hope that i'll get it this week. Thanks for the update Monk.

It is not a vision product. I have purchased several. I'd give an honest opinion on it, but I really don't wanna fight anymore vampires right now.

Yeah it's not vision, you can tell for sure just by looking at the heads. I really like mine once I filed down the center pin so it would screw into my battery's and rebuilding the heads to get rid of the dry hit. Man were those dry hits horrible, way worse than dry hits from anything else I have bought.

My only issue is the fact that they call it authentic and show a box with the vision logo. I guess my point is you can't always take their word for it.

I've got three of these on the way...I wish I could remember which staff member said, and in which product "discussion" on fasttech.com..."If a product we sell is the real thing we will put it in the description" don't take me word for word, but i did read that on there site and IMO "authentic" means authentic, no?
