What are my batteries trying to tell me?

I've got a pair of these eGo batteries and every once in awhile I get 5 or 6 flashes right after taking a hit. Seems like most of the time its after a big double monster hit but other times it just seems random though I'm sure its not. Only had them since yesterday and haven't run them till dead and I'm assuming they have protection and will just shut down when ready for a recharge.

Is it indicating a voltage drop or overheating internally or what? I'm clueless...

Probably hitting the 10 second cutoff. Take your atty off and just hold the button for 10 seconds or so and see if it blinks like that. Most do that so if the button is pressed in your pocket it shuts off instead of burning up your atty or your leg.

Yeah it DOES do that. It seemed like forever but yeah. I must be hitting the fool out of this thing.

Thanks!

When ya take a long drag, just let go of the button for a split second half way through, press it again and keep on going. Do it a couple times and it'll become habit. I have a couple with tighter draws that I take a long drag, let off the button as I inhale that mouthful, then press and go again.

Best guess is there's a time limit on how long a toot you can take... all of my Innokin devices have it set at 10 seconds. The fire button flashes when I go past 10 seconds holding it down (which I tend to do on long toots)

edit: never mind, I see this was answered already. ;)

I know. I grabbed my Iphone this afternoon and hit the home button 5 times. Siri was not amused.

I was trying to replicate the flashes before I posted and just didn't wait long enough to get them.

I just cancelled $95 worth of stuff from fast tech. Extremely frustrated with their practice of holding orders for weeks because one item (which, when purchased, they claimed was in stock) isn't ready to ship. I don't order vapor products because I need them next month... From what I can tell the only way to order from them is to buy things individually so they all ship individually. Anyway.... sad cuz i really wanted that Trident clone and the M16 mod but I just can't deal with a 3-4 week lag. Not when they claim 8 days at most.

Sorry for your frustration. Did you know you can ask them to send your order in 2 packages, if something is holding it up and you don't want to wait? Just contact support on the order page. They'll do it with no problem and it saves hassles.

Yep, you have hit the infamous San Fran Black Hole

We've seen it several times. Often when it spits it out it is in
your mailbox before you get any more notification.

Every one sing it with me "Let's do the time warp again!"

Hmmm, they have never held my entire order for one lacking item... they just send an email saying one item is not ready, so it will be shipped later. If I do not wish to wait, I have the option of cancelling that item:

We are sending your FastTech.com order in two shipments

Thank you for your order. FastTech puts quick shipment and prompt service. Your FastTech order A######### is going to be shipped within 12 hours.

To speed up processing of your shipment, the following products (SKUs) will be shipped in a separate package:

########

Products are typically shipped in a separate package because of one or more of the following reasons:

- Some items was displayed as "ships in X days" when ordering and thus they cannot be shipped promptly
- Some of the items were rejected during pre-shipment QC check, and we're acquiring new supplies from suppliers
- The items' distributors have missed their supply schedule and thus we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order

You can expect your second package to ship within a few days, and all of your packages will ship using the same shipping service you have chosen during checkout. We'll also e-mail shipment notifications to you as each of your packages ship. Please let us know if you have questions about this arrangement. Thank you.

Kind regards,

The FastTech Team

Same here. I had 3 items in a cart and the 3rd had an expected fulfill day. That day came and no joy.

The day after that I got the email you posted followed by an email with tracking info for the two items shipped. I waited for the 3rd item for a week before I canceled it and applied the payment to a different item.

The Engrish is one of the best parts of the site, aside from the great prices. ;-)

It's still better than my Chinese, which is 100% non existent.
