OK, I'll try to lighten the mood (or make you even more frustrated because I got stuff!) LOL
Yesterday I received a package from FT. In it was...........
* SS Chi-You mod ---- I am very happy with it. Keep in mind that I have never used, held, or seen in person a $200-$300 mod. With that being said, I think it is really nice! It did come with 2 very small indentions (too small to call dents, really) like they had been made with a sewing needle (that small). Other than that, it looks great and feels solid.
**10mL Hangsen RY4---- I really like this flavor. It is actually the best RY4 that I have tried, albeit one of the few that I have tried. I am not an RY4 enthusiast by any stretch of the imagination, as this is the first that I have enjoyed, but I can safely say that it is head-and-shoulders better than MBV's RY4 (at least to me). I have a 30mL bottle in my cart for next time.
***10mL Hangsen Juicy Peach---- What can I say? You guys and gals were right. This stuff is really good! I regret not ordering in lower nic concentration so that I could vape it more often, and I feel like an idiot for not ordering a 30mL bottle......which will be in my next order.
****Vinyl Shrink Tubing---- I got this for my Panasonic 18650's and it worked like I hoped it would.
*****Bear Grylls Folding Knife---- All I will say is that I doubt one could find a better $10 knife.
******Mini Plunger Sucker Stand for Smartphones ---- I got a 2-pack of these for the heck of it, and they suck!.....as they were made to do.
Now I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of my Ithaka while I fight the urge to order a brass Chi......
The Hangsen RY4 isn't bad at all, another one that's pretty good is the Dekang DK-TAB. (not sure if it's an RY4 but it's kind of similar to me)

I keep saying this, because I'm all excited about it... If you are going to hold out for something, check out the iTaste VTR. It's gonna be able to do 15 watts and have a smaller overall profile with the tank sortof enclosed and protected. I don't know this for sure, but someone told me it would be powered by an 18650. I'm hoping they lose the space-wasting cell phone charger baloney and use the extra space for an integrated battery thats a little bigger in MAH than the 18650, but I guess that can be argued both ways...
Not a whole lot of info out on it that I know of... most especially WHEN they will start shipping the damn thing. Could be a month, could be a year for all I know. I just wish they would have put more focus on that instead of the MVP upgrade... but I will be here, waiting impatiently for its release. I just hope they don't crush my plans by trying to sell it for like 100 bucks or something stupid

This may be a silly question but since it all comes from china what do they think they're doing with this. Forgive me if I'm late but this is all "news" to me and I wonder if it affects the large quantity purchasers (big vendors) too! I imagine it effects Alibaba, made in china, dhgate etc. With companies based in china that ship via HK (a large majority I guess). My first order too! Don't know why I waited.....

I understand the pros complaining about us folks with just a few dozen posts asking questions after reading only a page or two, I do, really...please remember some of us have never used a forum before and are still in the instant conversation mode. It takes a while to understand how it all works and after talking with others here in my city ecf is considered a pretty advanced forum with moved posts mandatory stickies minimum requirements (all aimed at wheening us into the group) yet still daunting. I do understand...I do...but my itaste ain't here yet!!!

"They" are the bureaucrats that run Hong Kong Post (HKP) and they are enforcing a directive they established years ago but slacked off on. Its affecting anything and anybody that ships airmail via HKP.
I read somewhere they had done this once before and why they are doing it is anyones guess.

I have been into RC for years and get lots of batts from Chinese/HK vendors so have seen it 3 or 4 times.
Often it's set off by a new high up being appointed and giving everyone a good kick up the posterior to follow the rules.

Finally. Someone to blame.
Thursday morning my order entered both USPS and Hong Kong Post tracking. Acceptance in USPS and HKP had it as "being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 12-Sep-2013." Some time between 2PM and just a few minutes ago it changed in USPS to "origin is preparing shipment" but no change in HKP. I hope the USPS change means something but from what I'm reading here I'm not optimistic.
"Acceptance" is a USPS status. Have you checked HKP tracking since the is where it actually is? Hongkong Post - Mail Tracking
ETA - It is the same tracking number.
i have been checking the hong kong post site regularly except the past few days because i gave up. but as of today is it getting ready to be shipped
