My response:
That's weird. I always get my FT items the same day I order. There have been a couple times where it was next day, but then I always get a free kitten. Bonus!

The only problem is the cardboard box that they cloned doesn't have holes like the real version, so not so good for the kitten...

argh, I placed an order last week for an M16 mod and some cr3032 button cells. The order had a ship date of the 12th, waiting on the M16. Since I didn't really need the 3032s, I cancelled them. Now the M16 ship date chaged to the 18th.I guess it takes longer to package less items...

You lost your place in line when you changed the order:D

I have 3 orders from fast tech I am waiting on right now. An eGo starter kit I bought for a friend, some tanks, and a second MVP because I love my first one so much. All 3 are just sitting there in Hong Kong. Some since the 5th, I know because I track (stalk?) them daily. I'm a big fan of FT because their prices can't be beat and I have been very happy with them so far.....but I truly hate the wait!

I like to place my FastTech orders at the same time I order Chinese take-out. That way I'm able to pick them up at the same time and same a trip.

If they took the time to read back one page they would see talk of it. The age of instant gratification. Just give me the answer now. My time is to valuable to look back one page and your time is less valuable so just take your time to give me a direct answer.

But hey, people take the time and answer them so......meh. No big deal. It's the interwebs after all

That does not however mean that we shouldn't set someone up for being lazy. We are sitting here talking about doing it so it's not like a sneak attack. And besides, it's the interwebs after all.

I say for the first complainer after 12:00 noon Eastern (about 50 minutes from this post) we tell the person how sorry we are for them and maybe about the fire they had at the HK post whearehouse and how FT say it's not their problem, you have to take it up with HK post who only speak Chinese and are available from 12:00-6:00 AM their local time. Or something like that:p

With that mentality the whole RBA section should be removed then since there's youtube videos online describing how to perform every build question asked in there.

Now that I think of it, this whole website should be removed since we can all just Google search any question we have.

I have no issue answering people's questions that I know have been asked before. Threads are living conversations that occur over time with many different people's inputs. It's what we do in co-op threads that are hundreds of pages long. Someone pops in asking it the buy is still open and has room.... we in the co-op understand the person doesn't have time to read a ton of pages to find out if it's still open. So they ask, and we polightly tell them weather there's still room or not.

It's funny when people babble along about how their sick of seeing this question and tell the person they should read a bunch of pages to find the answer... when it would take them half the time and effort to just answer it in the first place.

Even when it's the same question that's been asked and answered six times in the last three pages?

I think we should have gone with the fire idea

Yes, but what about the time it takes for the other hundreds of visitors to then have to read the question (and subsequent answer) again and again? Still funny?

It's understood that some threads are daunting, and I don't expect people to read every post before asking a question (although that's usually what I do - including this thread), but a cursory glance at some of the pages/posts (especially the first few and most recent few pages) will more often than not explain things pretty clearly.

It's just good forum etiquette to at least attempt to find your answer before asking the question. No one is suggesting that anyone should be required to read the whole thread but when the info you need is one or two pages back and also included in 3 or 4 other threads....

Between the whining and the criticism ABOUT the whining, that's all there is left on the thread! No ooohs and aaaahs over shiny stuff. No useful reviews. Nothing.

    So . . . . .

Is anyone planning to get one of the new colorful Vamo V2 kits? Or, how about this 8-pk of 900mah eGo in different pretty patterns? Very tempting, right?

Ever hear the saying: "misery enjoys company"? I find this entire thread comforting. Including all of the whining and moaning. Checking the status of my four orders every hour gets tedious. Knowing other people are griping lets me know I'm not alone.

Are you whining about the whining about the whining? I think I will take issue with that. :D

You are not alone, thats for sure. I've got two out there. One with just clearos and another with 350mls of liquids. I could live without the clearos but at some point I'm really going to need that liquid or its fizzin to get ugly up in here if you know what I mean.

I've got one of the brass M16s on order. It says it's supposed to ship on the 13th. It's the 13th. I don't think they're going to make that deadline.

Ok, I'll change the topic off the whining.

Some one once asked in this thread about how people thought FT pricing might effect local B+M prices.

I just received an E-mail from a prominent domestic vendor that said they have lowered the
price 5% on EVERYTHING in their entire store.

Can't say one led directly to the other but it sure has got me thinking.
