Undestanding resistances, LR and HV

Dual coils need double the volts of single coils. So, a 2.5ohm Dual Coil is like 5.0 Single Coil.

I'm over my head already trying to explain it.

When resistors are in series it doubles the amount of resistance because the electric force must travel through the first resistor which weakens it before hitting the second resistor. This means it takes more volts to push the current.

When in parallel the same amount of force goes across both resistors. This in effect means current and wattage of each resistor is added meaning you get increase on the same voltage.

The dual coils I've seen on clearomizers use parallel which means they don't need increased voltage. If cartos work the same way, which I'm fairly sure they do, the same voltage across two coils of same resistance doubles the watts (in essence cutting the ohms in half).

Well.... after almost a month in acceptance with HK post my order still sits without any movement. FT only response is wait four more days and see, its always wait a few more days with them. I've pretty much given up, not sure if I'll place another order with FT. The real ..... thing about it is, that's the first place I've found that has affordable mods that i find aesthetically pleasing. SUCKS when your ballin on a budget.

I feel your pain. I've had an order setting in acceptance since 8/31 with no movement either. It makes it even more frustrating seeing people post about their orders from dates on both sides of that moving. HK Post needs to get their act together and start moving packages in a FIFO fashion.

Just wondering, why would you need a 6V battery to drive these? Is it that you can't get high enough wattages for your taste with a 3.7V batterY?

Just out of mild curiosity, since you own these carto's, have you tried one? I'm guessing they will work fine, just be a real warmvape. Have you tried measuring the resistance of these carto's. If it is wired like the iClear dual coils it will be 2.5 (all good), if it is wired like my RBA then it would be 1.25 (not so good)

I'd give one a try.

I've tried all the eGos. Even my Variable Voltage set for 4.2 volts. I hyperventilated trying to get a hit. This article and chart helped me understand:

They are $2.12 each in a 10 pack, I can't buy the coils for that from local venders. I Now have the 3rd order in the works, the 10th and 19th are in "Acceptance".
I may get them all by Christmas, I Hope...

I've been using several for a month and a half and they are great. I've got a pair of true Kangers and cannot tell the difference. Clean them good before filling and they are good as gold.

No telling. I watched some Kanger BCC coils that took several weeks to restock. Pretty much at the mercy of the supplier. With the holiday coming you may want to cancel to get it moving before that and then add it to the next one.

Could be dang near any amount of time. I have a computer mouse that has been back ordered a month and other times they get the item in before they said they would. Vape gear seem to re-up fairly quick but not always.

I personally would be leery of doing any thing out of the ordinary unless you have to. I tried to cancel and take a store credit for the above mentioned mouse and they canceled the order but did not refund me. I had to open a ticket and now it will take days to try to get it straightened out. I wold give it a few days before canceling.

Not looking for a fight, but in my experience (a lot of orders), FT ships when they say they are going to, or before. I've only had one or two items go into restocking status instead of shipping.

This being said, what happens to our orders when they are at HK outgoing customs is obviously a very different kettle of fish. I've had very good experience with my recent orders - SP has had them on planes fairly quickly.

Most of mine have too previous to the storms and stuff. I was being facetious.
