I just wanted to throw out that it seems FT is getting their stuff together with tickets a little. Response time for the last few correspondence were 48 hrs, 36 hrs., and about 12 hours. I'm sure the holiday will throw them back off a little but it seems that they are getting a handle on things a little better. On that note, I noticed that even with the holiday, Geek was on line at 5:30 our time this morning. Way to be at your desk Geek!

I placed a couple of orders on Sep 9th (Nemesis, Ithaka & Trident) and another on Sep 20th for a Chi You. They shipped on Sep 12, 25, 26 & 27, and none of those packages have left the freaking HK airport!!!!! They haven't even loaded the status of one of those shipments into the tracking system.
fasttech has great prices and a decent service (considering they are in China, which makes it inherently difficult), but HKP is just ridiculous; I don't have the stomach for this, so I doubt I'll buy from them again.

I noticed today that another order of mine has moved to "processed" from "acceptance" in 4 days. The three orders before that took 10 days, 9 days, 7 days in that order, not counting the battery order that only took 2 days ( still don't know about that one). Seems that they are catching up, or at least for my orders.

Maybe we will find out about those packages that have been a month or more soon

I am not even going to think about placing another order until after their Holiday is over with. Then when I do I will strive to order and then try to forget about it so when it shows up it will be a pleasant surprise. Notice I said strive, I will probably stalk it daily again to see which part of the process the order is at ;)

When did it move to "processed"? Is anything at all moving today?

Update on the MVP situation...

They replied to my ticket saying "

Sorry for the issue. We apologize to you our warehouse staff have mistakenly shipped version 1 to some of the orders made during this time frame.

Thus we provide below resolution and you may choose either one of it.

1. Considering the hassle of return, if you prefer to skip it and we will offer a partial refund of $5.00.
2. Return the wrong item for correct replacement, we shall reimburse the return postage fully and arrange the replacement once confirmed delivery of return package.
PS: As we need to return the old version 1 for refund from our supplier, we appreciate your understanding in this case.

Please confirm so we could proceed. Thank you."

Then I asked on the forum if they could send the return any sooner to which they replied

"Unfortunately we cannot process the refund until our returns center has received the package. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Wow, thats a bummer... So If it takes 6 weeks to get the v1 back to you then 6 weeks for the v2 to get to me that will be 15 weeks from my initial order, 4 months to get my MVP version 2.

And that's the price of doing business in China and saving a bunch of money. It takes time, and when there is a problem, it takes a lot of time. They have offered several solutions including full refund or replacement. What they have done for you is exactly what they said they would do if you were not happy. I wish all our US vendors were as responsive.

Bummer about the wait though. It is such a great device that you should think about keeping the v1 and vaping it while you wait and then applying the refund to another V2. The VW feature is nice but does not really change the vaping experience and when the V2 does come in, you will have a back up.

I agree with Capt.shay, SwampThing. Use it for a month and then sell it. I've been wanting one myself, but just don't want to wait for it because I am watching 5 other orders LOL

Pretty much with you on that front. I have patience down to an art form but don't see any point in trying to test it.

Well, I'm happy. My ten mini vivi novas are on their way. It took five days to go from being 'accepted' to 'processed through sort facility', then just one more day to reach San Francisco.

Anyone else use the mini vivi novas? Evidently they have two different types that look slightly different. Both have plastic tanks but they differ in whether the end threads are on the inside or the outside (obviously the threading on the metal ends differs too).

I seen comments that these are cheap (true), not well made, prone to leaking, etc. etc. I personally haven't had any problems and like them very much.

One question - does anyone if replacement glass tanks are available somewhere. Or even glass/pyrex mini vivi novas? Actually, just a top-coil glass clearo would be good. Any suggestions??

I understand your disappointment, I really do. I have the MVP v.1 and it is a great piece of equipment. Been using it for 2 months, and it is the thing I bring with me consistently because of the incredible battery life, small size and VV. Just got the SVD, and although it is an amazing mod, the MVP is a lot more practical. I personally am seriously thinking about getting a second one just in case something happens to my present one.

From what I've read, the MVP v.2 is not much different, except for the VW aspect. Is VW really a deal-breaker for you? If yes, do send it back registered to the Miami depot (might take a week) and get the replacement (3 weeks, hopefully?). FT is very good at keeping its promises regarding replacements if you follow the procedure.

If not, then you may find that you really enjoy the v.1 . :vapor:

I bought 3 vivi novas from fastech. One plastic and 2 metal.

The plastic one leaked like a seive.
One of the metal ones was fine once I recoiled the head.
The other metal one had botched threading and never would thread onto any device correctly.

All 3 have been consigned to my vapocalypse box as about the same time I got them I discovered carto tanks and never looked back.

Placed my order 9/19, received shipping confirmation 9/21, processed through SF 9/29, hopefully will be in my mail box today or tomorrow.

Nothing earth shattering. Just 5 1300mAp ego type batteries. I bought 3 of them back in May and they are holding up very well so decided I needed a few more as back ups. I like the short, fat form factor of these. $8.08 1300mAh USB Rechargeable Battery for EGO-T E-Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and at 7.58 each if you buy 3 or more you just can't beat the price.

Doesn't the v2 have the ego thread as well? I have thought about one, once I get my nemy clone. The ego threading isn't a big deal to me, but nice to have options. I like my svd, just its a battery hog and have heard the mvp lasts awhile between charges.
