I am a glutton for punishment. I had a store credit so I ordered a iTaste V3. It's out of stock (7days) and HK isn't shipping batteries if they ship at all. I don't need a device right now so, we shall see ;) Besides, I'm feeling lucky!

I LOVE MY iTAZTE v3!
Hope your order ships!

Tiptoeing in with sympathy and all good vibes for those who have orders stuck in acceptance.
My order (the $128. one that I WOULD NOT shut up about) is out for delivery today. Order placed Sept 2.
Thank you for putting up with my incessant whining.
I still have 3 other orders in the system, but I learned to keep them around 40 bux so I don't obsess.
Uploading exlax to HK so things can get moving.

My Sept 10th order has finally arrived! HOORAY!

One of the items they sent is wrong. Boo :(

I sincerely hope they don't try and pull a "please send the item back and we'll resend the correct one" malarkey, since it was only the charger that was wrong. I don't want to make my poor mumsy wait another four to six weeks for her stuff :(

I wrote this up for another person a while back who was a bit confused about how to get the device setup properly. This post is intended for everyone, no offense if you already know all this, but it could help someone out...

-------------

As with most mechs, things need to be adjusted correctly in order to get the switch to function properly. Good mechs are adjustable to accommodate various battery lengths, 510 connector variances, switch throw, etc. The Nemesis is no exception. Especially with the Nemesis switch, the more the button sticks out, the worse it will perform, hang, misfire or stick.

<snipped some very well written and helpful info only to keep the quote tidy>
.

Awesome info Funky, and I did all the cleaning and such and figured out the top pin adjustment when it got here. I love that feature instead of a "floating" pin like my K100. I have to screw the atomizer down so hard I think I'm going to strip the theads and it's still not flush. On the nemesis clone my RBA's sit perfectly flush.

If you wouldn't mind expanding on how you adjust the switch throw, I'd appreciate that. It seems to me that one would need to stack washers under the firing pin to make the throw smaller and other than that I don't see the button as adjustable at all other than how far the button sticks out. The throw doesn't change as far as I can tell.

No offense but I'm glad I'm not you. I ordered my MVP the same day and got the first day of the month.

What item was wrong (edit - as in which charger)? The sent me 2 clearos once without asking for a return.

'My Precious' - Fasttech Pisces topped by the Fastteck 2.5ml ATTY

FastTech ATTY Rebuildable Atomizer with Clear Tank (2.5mL) - 1*airhole / 1.0ohm

I've left the Fasttech installed sub-oHm mesh in the ATTY, but I cannot hold the button down for long vapes without burning, so I'll be gentle with it until I can change the mesh out with a basic 1.6 - 2.0 oHm coil.

FastTech Pisces Style Mechanical Mod - telescopic

At the start, I could not get the Pisces to fire up the ATTY. A mate told me how to lift the center pin in the Pisces so it was making contact with the ATTY's pin =]

She will only be set down when the MVP2 arrives from Fasttech, which I will be calling 'Gollum' LOLOLOLOL

I have that same Fasttech ATTY (I-Atty) ... the stock coil is horrible imho. They used twisted wire that's wrapped WAY too loose... barely even makes contact with the mesh. I just rewrapped mine this morning with about 5 wraps of 30g, did the pulse method to get rid of hot spots. I also wrap fairly tightly right on the wick, and then install the wick and coil into the atty.

I've not done a mesh coil yet, so I'll pull it out when I get home from work =] Your picture does show the coil looking very tight and clean, I must say =]

Well, my 'good friend' James at my local USPS branch managed to find my package and get it to me, glad i got on the phone early.

On that note, this CHI YOU clone i've been waiting ages for is pretty impressive build wise, has a few little quirks but i highly recommend it to anyone considering ordering one.

Do it!

Actually, the funny thing, when I first got it (think it was my first RBA) ... I got SO frustrated with it, that I locked it up in cabinet where I couldn't see it. Totally forgot about until yesterday because I ordered my wife a Purple Vamo, and thought this Purple ATTY might look good with it... so I thought, "what the hell" ... let me try my hand at wrapping a Geni now that I have a few months of experience under my belt. It's actually working surprisingly well now!

I have had mine for aboot a month now and I can get wicked vapor out of it but no flavour, I have tried, twisted on the mesh, twisted on silica and cotton yarn, non twisted on both, I am seeing a pattern here with my build skills. Oh and I've used 28 and 32 kanthal

The lack of flavor is what made me lock it away. What I ended up doing was putting a drop of crazy glue on the air hole, from the inside... let it dry, and then used a pin to fine tune it until it had the perfect draw / flavor I was looking for. Personally I am NOT a fan of big, open airy draws, as I find the flavor is the first thing that goes out the window. It might get you move vapor, but flavor is what I chase.

Thanks I think I will try that, may have to pull out the redneck bubble gum. JB Weld

Batteries ordered on the 20th, they enjoyed an extended visit to the HK post office and are now (for some odd reason) spending a couple of days in San Fran (maybe they like the weather). They'll get here eventually and honestly, since I grew up when "expect 6-8 weeks for delivery" was typical, I'm not wringing my hands.

Hi guys - just want to make sure I understand this situation with HK Post and batteries.

I had one shipment (shipped 9/9 and contained several ego batteries) get held for awhile but it did eventually make it here (took 22 days). Fine, I was in no huge hurry.

But now I'm interested in getting some loose batteries, i.e. 'not in a device'. They would be spares and I'm in no hurry - 'slow boat' shipping is fine. Can I order them from FastTech or not?

Thanks.
