Short in coils when screwed down was originally linked to coil wire ends poking out.(To long) and contacting the ground portion of the head or the 510 post. might want to take a look.

I built a few coils last week. Perfect for me on the meter. When I put them in the SVD to check they were all shorted. Dangit... So I put them off to the side puzzled. A couple days later I went to rebuild them.. again. A wire poked me a bit when I picked them up. I trimmed the excess and they were perfect.
Very good advice. It stumped me and made me build a few I didn't have to.
Yes - I have a black one. Very reliable, large capacity, takes Evod heads - all good!

Can someone tell me what is going on with my order? It looks like it is in a loop. Obviously ISC San Francisco (Customs) is not in San Francisco. 26 days since "Acceptance" and still in China.
