LOL! I know what you mean. I actually caught myself having my sister order something off of Ebay because I didn't want my wife t see that I had ordered it.

All 5 of them were just horrible bad coils choking off the wick so it was dry hit after dry hit. Today I recoiled one of them with 5 wraps 32 gauge kanthal and cotton wick. It is vaping like a dream.
All I can suggest is use these as the base carcas of evod heads to build decent coils on. Spare parts works as well.

Good to know! I've just been giving mine a good alcohol soak, but I do intend to make coils for them =]
Yeah I always clean everything well before using. The problem here was the coils were wrapped so tight it was actually choking off and cutting the wick. So juice just wasn't getting to the coils well enough.
For the price they are perfectly fine as cheap hardware to build good coils on but I wouldn't count on the stock coils from fasttech to be any good.

My replacement evod coils from fT work great after a nice warm bath.
I guess I got lucky w/ my batch.
I couldn't rebuild one if my life depended on it, so I will just thank Lady Luck.
I've been using Fasttech's other premade coils since they came out. They have all worked fine if you don't mind silica. I make my own, but when the arthritis flares up I can get my hubby to tighten the screws down for a Fasttech coil, since he certainly won't make them for me! LOL
Well I had to do it, ordered 2 (blue and yellow), most likely junk, but look neat. I have blown more on less.

I ordered the 2.5ohm 5pk back when I started. They measured out as described and seemed ok but needed wick removal even with 70/30. Now that I can build by own I'm probably just redo them as needed.
Well I put in my frst order to Fasttech. I ordered a Nemesis clone,a Nimbus Clone V5,and a atty ohm tester. Now the waiting begins,lol. Im used to it though because I order my lipos for my RC cars from China. We will see how it goes.
Reminds me of those "Pocket Fisherman" that were popular in the 70s...
